They don’t maintain it

Not sure why they even bothered making an app it’s not updated so you basically have to use the website in the browser on your phone

Beatport is great for entry Dj’s

I like beatport a lot. I’m not using the app to DJ. But going to use it to discover which songs of each genre I’d like to use in my sets. Eventually, I’ll probably end up owning all of my own music but beatport allows entry level dj’s to get mixing with songs at the same bpm in the top100 of any genre right away! Which is actually quite valuable. I wouldn’t look at the mobile app for a primary music streaming service. The other review (only other one) just seemed like the guy didn’t know what beatport is meant for and thought it was like, tidal or something. This is mainly a software used in tandem with rekordbox. Not a streaming service but I am going to leverage the app for future songs and set ideas!

Great Library But Buggy App

Library of music is fantastic, syncs perfectly with laptop etc for streaming on DJ Controller.

1/ Playback via App can be really buggy
2/ Please please enable hide preorder from My Beatport!! So annoying especially because you can not even preorder!!!!
3/ Why do I have to
Constantly login???

Hi Nick, thanks for your feedback! We are always working on improving the app and will take these points into account. The option to toggle pre-order releases in the My Beatport section is something we're already looking at introducing.

Worst selection of music

Absolutely the worst music platform out.!!! Nothing but junk music.. love sound cloud much better so happy I was only trying out the trial.. i definitely would not pay anything for this.. completely trash.. wish I can rate them 0 stars..!!

Good v2

I miss sub-genre sort by new releases. Request: ripoff SoundCloud time tags so we can cue times up on set plz. Need to be able to disable preorders on My Tracks for follower labels. ... 2) I used a service that syncs my ~15 years of music history from all platforms into Beatport and now that I have a playlist of 20,000 tracks the playlist never loads when selecting "edit playlist". 😅 This app is an aside: I still prefer the website and "add to home" to treat it like an app. + I pay extra for djay just for Explore and simple Automix/queue.. something I hope to see in Beatport v3!!

Worst search ever

Maybe… I don’t know… have more than 1 filter? Monthly sub and I can’t find anything. The pain of searching is cause to be paid, not to pay.

Should be able to add to cart in app

I get that purchase functionality isn't in the app yet but at least let me add tracks to my cart on the go, and to listen to my cart. Duplicating in and out of playlists is inconvenient. Inconvenience leads to lower conversion.

Thank you for you feedback! In the mobile app, you can create playlists that are available to you on beatport.com. We do not support purchases in the mobile app but we do on our site. Thanks for using Beatport.
