  • Jerry cat

All round enjoyable game but partners bidding under acol hard to fathom on occasions
  • Great fun but don’t open at work

So much fun. Lots of help to learn. Ads unobtrusive until out of the blue they included audio! Oh well phone should be on silent in movie anyway.

Still great and ads still way too loud. Don’t play while killing time at the library.

  • Bad play, takes forever, bidding inconsistent, what more could be wrong.

This has gotten much worse. There is no consistency it bidding, play, or process.
  • Dumb robots

Bidding and play by robots quite dumb
  • Enjoying the new version

Really like the new “play from here” feature. Now I can try alternative plays to see if they work better for me, without altering the score by replaying the hand. Also the program often changed its strategy when I replayed a hand, so I couldn’t test my plays against the original strategy. Sometimes I would hit replay repeatedly, trying to get back to the original strategy. But now I don’t have to do that,
Also, if I question the AI “solution” to a hand, I can try playing it differently at any point and see if it works.
However it does annoy me that the AI solutions have the players playing their high cards too easily, especially in second position . The declarer doesn’t have to decide whether to take a finesse if he knows his opponents will play their highest card when he leads a suit.

Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Bridge. Thank you for your review. And we are happy to hear you are getting good use of the ‘play from here’ feature. The AI solutions are double dummy, so it may play the high cards or other cards that one would not play in regular play. We will work on making this more realistic. The “Replay” option is not double dummy, it will be more realistic. However, since it is not double dummy, the AI will recalculate each of its moves. It uses a Monte Carlo Simulation for each move and the noise in the random simulation will lead to different plays occasionally.
  • Terrible terrible game, shame on you

    Terrible bidding
    Terrible play
Horrendous duplicate bridge engine cannot reach same result even when both hands played by computer
  • Inappropriate ads

I uninstalled this due to extremely inappropriate ads. I probably would have purchased this app but was too offended to proceed.
  • No trump bidding

The bidding assumes a high no trump where as a lot of players play 12-14 for a one no trump.
  • Neural Bridge

The bidding engine really stinks…North frequently departs from standard or even rational calls. The AI bots play quite poorly on the highest “expert” setting and often fail to make even routine contracts or offer best (or even) reasonable defense. If North weren’t a bot, I would have reached across the table and strangled him long ago.

Best engine for bidding and play is FunBridge. It’s not free but well worth the $80 a year for unlimited play in many modes.

  • Something has gone wrong…

Really liked this app but lately the bidding is so wrong it has become difficult to play. Hope an update is in the works, until then IM looking for another app

    11/22. After updates ..Even worse…..
My favorite app has become unplayable. Bidding is wretched. I opened 1H, app responded 3H..their hand 8 points and 2Hearts. This is more the norm than the exception. I’ll be searching for a new bridge buddy
