Parts just stop working

The stats have gone for multiple competitions from the application. When scoring if you make a mistake in a quarter and want to fix it you can’t complete the quarter as then there’s no going back. When the stats were working if you fill in for a game they don’t appear in the season list. Overall the only good thing is the live stats durning the game.

Hi there, on the score panel there is an 'Undo' for mistakes you can also edit the action log at the conclusion of the game. Please email us at info@worldsportaction.com and we can organise a call to walk you through this :)

Fantastic

This app has improved my basketball experience in so many ways. From tracking ladder updates to receiving real-time scores, it's a must-have for any fan.

This is the worst sports app I’ve seen

Out of all the sports apps I’ve had the opportunity to download for basketball this is by far the worst app I’ve seen. If they just take a look at GameDay maybe they can have some good ideas instead of trying to be different for the sake of being different. The menus are confusing. In the tables screen you should be able to tap the team you want to go to instead of it just saying the team name. I’ve looked at other reviews and it seems to be a running issue that this app was not made with the user in mind. Every response I see from the creators are “email us any feedback” and this is not helpful at all. It would be nice to see them saying they would be trying to fix some of these issues but it seems that is not they’re top priority. Anyways guess I’m stuck with this downgrade from GameDay, hope it gets better.

Hard to use not responsive

The app is not responsive so is hard to read the information in the app on a phone. Turning your phone long ways doesn’t change layout. The home page needs to update and show selected team but it doesn’t. Once you have selected a team it still prompts to select a team. The black colour is old and doesn’t suit the current climate.

Not well designed

Not as streamlined as GameDay (the app it replaced). The home page should have upcoming games within the week, along with any pertinent information regarding bsa or teams. There should be a ‘teams’ page, where fixtures, stats, player information, and ladders should be accessible. There should be a search feature, that is more likely to encompassed searches that people are more likely to make (eg, searching for lightsview should show social competitions, Norwood should show the team and social league, for which you can click on whichever you need and scroll through). Then obviously, settings. These menu features should be along the bottom of the app. It’s just not very streamlined, don’t think it’s was designed in conjunction with users.

Too many updates and unable to see player stats

This app is difficult to register a team player and once registered the stats cannot be logged easily as even more steps are required to see these. Another update is required today before I use the app and am unable to see anything until the update is downloaded. Much prefer the previous app the club used.

My experience has been bug free and I have easy access to see the game points and stats etc. Useful update as well. Highly recommend for basketball players out there.

Not user friendly

This has to be one of the most non user friendly apps out there. As a member for a large basketball association the administrators are trying their best to support us through registering however the instructions provided by basketball connect make no sense and nobody know if we have actually been registered correctly.

Perhaps some user friendly video tutorials in your app with guides for players, team managers and association adminstrators. If these are already available make them easier to access in your app. I feel my review mimics a lot of the other reviews

Absolutely hopeless

Idea behind this app is good - have all the functions needed for clubs, teams, league managers and refs in one app.

Execution is horrible - UI and CX have not been thought through and final product is poor. Unsure how was this tested but there are multiple issues- from lack of support to multiple bugs and one very average interface and user experience.

We are forced to use it but developers have a lot of working to do…
