Scoring feature
I like the scoring feature in Team Snap much better. There is a timer, you get notifications, that chat is part of the same feed so you can say who scored.
This needs more work. And the score doesn’t show on the event when it’s over. So you have to go back into the live scoring to see how the game ended.

Am I dreaming? It’s 2023 and this sports scheduling platform DOES NOT HAVE A WAY TO EXPORT AN INTERNET CALENDAR.
My kid’s soccer club switched from TeamSnap to Sprocket; the lack of shareable calendar is a huge downgrade. While I couldn’t care less which platform they use, at least give me a usable calendar that I can merge with my work and family calendar in outlook or on the iPhone!Show lessSurgataz

Hi @Surgataz, we do offer an iCal export. Go into your player’s team to see their calendar and then tap “Subscribe to Calendar.” If you need any assistance, please shoot us an email at hello@sprocketsports.com and we can walk you through it.Concerns Addressed
UPDATE: The developer addressed the issues in my original review.
I enjoyed this app when I first used it. It wasn’t perfect, but it was more than enough for schedules and chats. I wish there was a way to invite other family members to see games, but other than that, it served me well. The most recent update made it so I can’t even log in. This is only an issue for Apple users. The app works fine for Android users. I hope they hire a developer who understands how to utilize Apple as well. I’m currently in the dark for changes to practices/other announcements. This is not a viable option for teams as it stands.Show lessMC Hem

If you’d like to invite family members, click the ‘Profile’ icon in the top-left corner and navigate to 'Household' to invite additional family members. Select 'Add Parent/Guardian' and click on 'Limited Access' for view-only access to games and schedules. Please reach out to support@sprocketsports.com if there’s anything we can do to help. With three kids in soccer, this app keeps my husband and I organized. Love the calendar sync, game updates for when I’m missing a game, and it’s easy to communicate with coaches and other parents.drycleaningmom
Difficult to use
There are several problems with this application:
text boxes do not wrap words when composing messages making it look while you write a message you misspelled a word.
You cannot copy messages so if someone shares something like a phone number you can't copy it and use it elsewhere.
Text sizes ignore phone user preferences
I persistently have an increasing number of alerts I cannot acknowledge in the schedule.
By default message notficiations are suppressed when notifications are enabled for thr app so you do not know when someone messages you.
When notifications are enabled I will receive a notification for a message only to find out that I can't see it for several minutes in the messages area.
Overall usability is not a consideration. I wish my son's sports team used a different platform.Show lessPeter Ryan

Hi @Peter Ryan, Look for the ability to copy/paste messages and a correction to the text wrapping with the next update. To clear your alerts, click the Profile icon in the top-left corner of the Mobile App on the home screen, select 'Notifications’ and tap ‘Clear’ in the top-right corner. The text sizing item is something we’re considering for a future version of the app. We are not seeing the message delay issue that you’re experiencing, but would like to help. Do not like this app at all, compared to other apps we have had to use for sports. You can share with family so they can have the schedule or be contacted when practice is cancelled or events change. I had to get my husbands permission to even use the app. When I sign in using my username and password I ended up with another persons account! I wasn't able to contact the coach or even mark if my child could go to a game. Overall I hope we are forced to use this app long.Show lessyesdeals
