Crashes every time I try to scan a page :(

1 scan

Amazing app, one update it needs for me is that when I scan a page, it works amazing, I go to scan a second page and it doesn’t work. After I scan 1 page it wont let me scan anything else. Im not sure why this happens but I just resort to using the camera feature(which works great for handouts)

Adding titles to separate notes in the same subject

I’ve been using the app for about a day now and I’m having trouble finding each note for the same subject if there is a way to somehow add titles for each note in the same subject it would be a lot easier to navigate through.

Thanks for your suggestions! We are looking into a search feature so you can find notes quickly. We also hope to have sub folders in the notes section for better organization. Check back soon.

So useful

I love this app, and it makes it so much easier for me to study! I need to memorize vocabulary words for my History Tests, and making flash cards helps so much! One this I would like is if we could scan non- five Star products instead of just taking pictures.

Thanks so much for the 5 Stars! We love hearing all your feedback. We will have some new folders coming out this back to school which will allow you to scan worksheets without the codes. We know you have other documents you use to study other than our Five Star notebooks.

Won’t Scan

The app tells you to hold all 4 QR codes within the brackets to make flash cards, but it won’t scan or do anything after doing so. The QR squares were all inside the brackets and the screen didn’t change at all. So disappointing.

Filler Paper

I am truly enjoying the app and it’s functionality with the notebooks. My daughter needs to review tons of notes and material for midterms and finals and having an extra copy on hand make me feel more at ease. The only drawback I have is that I went ahead and bought filler paper with the same format as the notebooks for her binders but when I try to scan the notes it is not reading the size of the filler paper. It’s a letdown being each pack is about $5 just for loose leaf paper. She writes the most notes for Science and now I won’t be able to use this paper. I can take a picture instead but I purchase purposely to make flash cards at study guides and just can’t get it to work for the loose leaf paper 😔

I am very sorry to hear the filler paper isn't working. Do you see the QR markers in the corners of the pages? If you could provide more information, we could better help with this issue. If possible, could you send more information to juli.hallas@acco.com or send a response in the app under feedback. We want your daughter to continue to enjoy the app.

Scan brightness

When I scan the paper it makes it very bright and I can’t read the notes. The picture I take works fine but when the scan takes out the lines of the paper it also brightens the page to much and I can no longer see the notes.

Needs Improvement!

Whenever I try to scan it never works with the brackets! Otherwise it would be a good app.

Doesn’t make flash cards

First all the notebooks that have the sheet advertising the app don’t all work with the app. Only ones that have QR codes inside but it doesn’t say if they do or not when you buy them. It gets even worse though when the do have it and you scan them in it doesn’t make flash cards for you. You just get little pictures of parts of your notes and you have to put what would be on the other side. I would not suggest the app or buying the notebooks.

Good app, only one issue…

Im actually quite impressed of how well this app works, and how i can easily scan all my math homework into google drive.

There is one minor problem though, sometimes the holes in the side of the paper are picked up as if one of those triangles are filled in, which makes a flashcard. No big deal, i can just delete that, but it may be annoying for some people.
