I’ve been an early adopter of this app and it’s really starting to turn into an app I use almost daily. Love the new topics and events section and the option to choose to repeat something or not!
great app! the morning reminders and task completion reminders are unneeded. i also wish there was a way to have a recurring calendar item or task that was assigned to different people. for example, we have drop off and pick up of the kids on the calendar but there’s no way to assign different days to different people - if i have drop off and my husband has pick up assigned for monday, it automatically stays that way for all other drop offs and pick ups that week. it would be great to have a repeating task that has a different person assigned to it each time it repeats.
I *want* this to be the family app for us. The general feel is right. But the chat windows are cluttered with recaps, morning outlooks, and “X created/edited task Y messages.” Let the chat box be for me and my family to discuss/brainstorm tasks before we schedule them. Given the clutter, the app really only has appeal to me as a task scheduler, and it ends up being easier just use the default Reminders app with shared lists. I want to use Maple to schedule tasks while also compartmentalizing discussions into different threads/topics. Unfortunately, the automated messages clutter these boxes, and there is no setting to disable them.
As a mother of two kids under 3, my mind is always in 100 different places. Maple has helped me organize my daily life into easy to track and manage tasks and events. It has proven to be a great place to discuss, manage and share workload with my family. Most importantly, my partner has insight into my day/week and has been able to take tasks off my list when my days look overwhelming. We’ve been able to “divide and conquer” much more successfully than ever before. Thank you Maple for making my days more manageable.
When I initially downloaded Maple, I was ecstatic. The home page was very interesting, engaging, and still organized.
The recent update simplified it and now the home page looks like a plain messaging app. It’s uninteresting, just lots of text.
I had gotten this app to help me (a parent with ADHD) keep engaged with household and family tasks. Now it doesn’t quite have the same feel as before, but I haven’t yet found another app that has that same feeling (especially not one without a subscription, which is a big reason why I chose Maple in the first place.)

Is there any way to add a marker or something on month calendar view. On the web page I can see there are event on other days. But on the phone app there is no identifier showing an event on another days unless I click on a day and see the day event shown below. Please add some sort of marker or identifier.
We have two young kids and recently bought a house so we have a lot to keep track of and this app has been wonderful. I love that I can keep track of my daily and long-term projects in different topics and check things off as I go. It’s also nice to be able to assign tasks to my husband and get them off my mental load. The interface is simple and easy to navigate. Since it’s a relatively new app it definitely could use some tweaks, but so far I like it better than most to-do list apps I’ve used. They are also very receptive to suggestions and seem to already be working on things I’ve asked about so I’m looking forward to seeing it get better as we go!

-Calendar only shows you a few hours at a time. I really need to be able to see a whole day at a time (at least 12 hours) to know what’s coming
-Chat feature is nice but is cluttered with notifications and recaps of the day
-Events list is useless. Please make it a calendar within a topic.
-Reminders need to be plastic. 10 minutes before doesn’t make sense for most things. For example, for an all-day event you get a reminder at 11:50pm the day before.
-I’d like to see upcoming tasks listed somewhere, not sure where those display if it’s not the right day
-Tasks should remember your previously created tasks too for easy creation. It takes quite a few steps to create a task.
Love the idea of the app, however…
1) When inputting our schedule into the calendar, it automatically schedules it for “today” even when I open the future date and click + it skips back to today’s date and I have to go back and fix it…
2) I can’t make exceptions for repeating events; I went to delete my work days during spring break and the only option was to delete every instance of a work day…
There are just some minor inconveniences here that don’t occur in any other calendar/scheduling app I use

Thanks so much and if you have more feedback that you'd like to share with us, feel free to reach us at support@growmaple.com.Great for household management, but I need to be able to filter tasks by topic (ie i need to filter to see grocery list rather than ALL the meal-planning tasks). I don’t need to see discussion blurbs in between, nor see ALL the tasks assigned to me when I’m just doing grocery shopping. I know I have to fix the sink, let me focus on household projects separately please! You should also be able to customize reminders including having multiple for one task if you’re someone like me, who very much needs that.
