No customer service support. Don’t close your account if they don’t have a feature that you want, and expect to rejoin them when they get it. If it’s it’s not an easy fix, they chuck in it the too hard basket. When I first joined DOSH there was limited functionality so I closed my account. The support team have made it clear they don’t want to work with their customers to get to a resolution.Show lessKri32

Hi there, we do only permit one account per customer. If you close your account and would like to get another one we are happy to help as long as we understand the reasoning for this. Note, this is not possible within a 30 day window. Security is super important at dosh and these regulations are in place to ensure our customers and their money are kept safe. Having trouble to getting my card because of my name. Email to them and they have been respond to me very fast and everything was sorted. Great customer service I would say!HarryPuah

Won’t run on 2 devices I had to delete off one of my phones. Would like my bank acc pre saved for easier deposit. I have to enter details each time which is difficult with medical (functional) issues, also I would like to Personalise the main account on app change name and colour but won’t allow that. Update: I’m not sure how saving myself as a payee gets money quickly ‘from’ my bank account to my dosh account? could you pls explain that to me? UPDATE 2 : defeated whole purpose of app by introducing a fee to use windcave (instant payments) instant payments are the appeal along with 1% cashback that now is pointless as there is a fee negating the cashback potential. I will be spending my money and cutting card after that. (Had to lower the stars unfortunately) UPDATE: first transfer dosh to bank account it’s been almost 24 hours no sign of my money dish app says in progress!. The whole point is the fast payments it has not lived up to what is advertised and I don’t know if I’m going to get my money ? UPDATE 3 deleted after it was turned black. Makes my eyes go funny and I just don’t like black can’t have that on my phone. I do pick banks whose colours are consistent with my style because it affects how you feel when you look at it. You will receive the verification code to this phone number before you can log in, so that we know it is you. This is to keep your account and your money safe. Top tip for adding money to your Dosh account via bank transfer: set up and save Dosh as a payee in your online banking platform, that way you can quickly enter the amount and send it without having to repeatedly enter your details. It makes things quick and easy. Thirdly, your Everyday account is blue so you can easily recognise and access it as your main Dosh account. All the other accounts can be personalised with colours and emojis to suit. Dosh to bank account transfers are processed daily at 7am. If you transfer before this time your money will be in your bank account by midday (we rely on standard bank processing times for this). 1% cash back and no annual fees. This is amazing! But I’m giving four stars only and not taking the card with me because 1. The blue card is too ugly; 2. They do not support Apple Pay (they have been saying ‘coming soon’ for a few years); 3. Some old pos machines (like the ones with black and white screens in the very old food courts) don’t support Dosh cards and only support NZ-issued bank cards. I think the Dosh card is a prepaid card, which might be why.Show lessHe X.

Hi there, thank you for your review. As you will have seen we have undertaken a full refresh of the dosh brand. Rolling out new dosh cards to match is in the works, however takes a little time to push through. It shouldn't be too far away. They sell it as a banking debit card but it's not, is just a prepaid card. That means you have to pay all the surcharge. No reason to use this as there are better banking credit cards with better rewards (TSB) and better non-banking accounts with better rates (Booster).
To the scammy developer: You'll incur charges even without contactless. And you can phrase it the way you want to, but is still a lie. I'd file a legal claim for false advertisement but you're not worth the time.Show lessJane Dilbert

Hi there, thanks for your review. While you may incur a surcharge for contactless payments when using the Dosh Card, this is the same rate as other bank debit or credit charges. With our Dosh Card cashback reward programme there is no annual fee or credit check to get a card and we currently offer 1% cashback, which we think is a pretty sweet deal! Dosh is completely free to set up with no account fees. We also do not invest any of your deposits in a fund to generate a return. Your money is held securely on trust a registered bank. It’s pretty cool that you give cards away with $6 pre loaded! Just wondered can this be used overseas and is there any costs to put money on and exchange rate etc for example my daughter in Oz wants $1000 but in the end it will end up being $800 or so thru a bankdadsasd

Probably won’t use as much now with the new windcave fee added! Not really worth it unless your transferring a large amount at the one time. I prefer to transfer what I need, when I need it. Kind of takes away the purpose of the 1% cash back#lisafaith#

You can still add money via bank transfer for free to get the most out of your 1% monthly eligible cashback. Money will arrive in your Dosh account within 1-2 hours between 9am-9pm, 7 days a week. Awesome resource. I used it when travelling recently and easily topped up the debit card using online eftpos - then event dosh cash back rewards at the same time.
Also if you have kids, they can get one as well - much faster and easier then opening a bank account and you can give them money on the go if they need it!Show lessRedlockNZ
