Newest update is useless in the truest sense of the word
The newest update has made the stages app / bike combo absolutely useless to use. Absolutely nothing connects or tracks any of the ride outside of the heart rate. Also doesn’t give you the ability to actually connect or adjust anything on the bike gears wise.
Great app to manage your SB20
Good design, some flaws but does all you need to manage your bike.
Missing Connectivity + Simplicity
We have an indoor cycle at my gym and o really wanted it to work with my daily tracking on Apple Health. There are three glitches that bother me. 1) You can’t sync more than one ride per day to Apple Health. 2) You have to remember to sync your heart rate monitor to the app on top of syncing the bike power meter in order to get heart rate data. 3) connecting to the power meter is not simple and straightforward since there is both a monitor and a power meter. It took me a while to figure that out.

Everything gone
New update deleted all of my setups for my bike, took an hour to get everything setup again, there goes all my time to ride today. Unnecessary to say the least.
Getting to know it better
Added a new dash and it’s getting smoother all the time
Great bike, shame about the app
I had high hopes for my Stages spin bike, but the app is so **** I’ve decided to keep using my Tacx Neo 2
Stages really should employ someone decent to write a decent app.

Great app and motivational support
I use this app because we have Stages spin bikes at my local leisure centre. The app is easy to use. I needed to learn how to pair the bike and so it took 5 mins to learn. I use it every time I do a spin session and it give me accurate data for my power and cadence. I also enjoy the motivational emails that I get from Stages with summary weekly data. I prefer it to Strava because it isn’t a social media app!

Junk
App won’t even start on iOS 17.1. Black screen then it crashes.
What absolute trash.
What absolute trash.
What happened?
The app has never been particularly well, but they did add a fitness feature with ready workouts. It worked for maybe a few months. Now, every time you try to load the fitness tab in the app you’re stuck seeing an infinite loader. I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting, deleting the app, etc. Nothing works. Stages needs to get their apps up to speed.

Stages L 50
Useful but a little hard to use. This Head-unit provides a lot of data and screens. It’s not a touch screen and buttons are very hard to push. In particular the power button take a lot of effort to engage.
