2+ years?!?!
Surely it can’t take 2+ years to make an iPhone app. And 1 year of it being approved by the FDA. You can’t just submit a blank app to the FDA, you’ve had a model and a way of communication for over a year now. I could probably learn iOS coding and make an app in half of the time it’s taking them to make this.

Love this app as a diabetes educator!
This app is so helpful for getting people comfortable with using Omnipod 5 before pump start day! Thank you to the creators!

Omnipod 5 & Dexcom
I’ve been using the omnipod system since they first released the first wireless insulin pump system. It was not yet integrated with any continuous glucose monitoring system, so I had to enter in my blood sugar levels and calculate my carbs to get the necessary insulin to maintain my glucose levels.
I am now using the omnipod 5 system and Dexcom G6 and I am very happy with the upgrades that are being offered to patients. I do miss the ability for family members to be able to view my insulin pump levels, but the fact that I can allow my Dexcom to communicate with omnipod to keep my blood sugar levels in range is a huge benefit for me.
I highly recommend getting this device!

Now or safe? The FDA chooses safe.
I completely understand the desire for an available app and that so many have waited for so long. Please consider, that if app controls the delivery of a potentially deadly (and life-sustaining) substance, like insulin, and the FDA is involved, there are likely many factors outside of a certain sphere of control.

I updated the app and it glitched and went back to the old screen not the updated one
I got back to the old screen, when I updated it it glitched can someone fix it for me
Insulet, what’s going on?!?!?
How is it that there is no REAL iPhone app yet to control our Omnipods?!?!? Insulet, how long do you need?!?!? We keep getting updates for our PDMs…guess what…no one cares about those! At least tell us what date your shooting for, so at least there’s some accountability on your end for delivering. Please listen to all the feedback from your users…it’s deafening.

When
This is great, but when will it become available to actually use?
Omni pod 5 with Dexcom
The best way to lose customers. Is to lie to them . You stated they would be a rollout with iOS when the FDA approved it , that has been approved and is still not in operation. I love the Omni pod but not caring around two or theee devices. About to change to something else .
False promises
It makes no sense waiting seems like forever. FDA got to be an excuse because it’s working with other phones other pumps. Thought I only needed one device but carrying two is frustrating.
Another asian puppet
Regretfully, this is another American company which sold their soul to Asian masters. The way their PDM works, or rather doesn’t, explains why they can’t get Apple approval. No reputable American company would want to get their reputation soiled by being engaged with THAT.
Dexcom didn’t buy them, so you can guess who wanted to steal HIPAA data of Americans.
Shame!
It was a great idea, though…
