Garbage
This app is complete garbage. I was forced to switch to this one for UC Rap and I couldn’t be more displeased. On iPhone, if you go to the summary of the episode (which is frustrating that it doesn’t immediately come up when selecting the episode like the previous app) you are then unable to return to any previous screen without exiting the app. I can see part of what are likely supposed to be the buttons to return to a previous screen but they run off the top of the screen and are nonfunctional. Makes me seriously reconsider my subscription if this is what I have to continually deal with.

Difficult to access written reviews
App is improving and devs seem responsive to review input.
Having difficulty accessing written summaries on segments that are marked as played, app seems to automatically start playing them and then skip to the next segment. Allowing users to open a segment without automatically playing makes it much easier to access non-audio content

Clunky app makes the great content hard to appreciate
The old app did everything I needed. Sometimes simple is better. Not sure what the impetus was for the change but the new app has quite a few kinks to work out. The downloaded episodes aren’t actually downloaded and still require internet to play. The app intermittently closes out on me and stops playing. The interface is clunky and difficult to navigate.

Downgrade
Not intuitive to navigate. Glitchy. I prefer the older more basic app which was made unavailable.
Download and play function doesn’t work
I’m not sure if it’s just my app, but the improved functionality of the new app is completely negated by the fact that the app won’t function at all without services or internet, which completely defeats the purpose of downloading episodes. The old app I could download a month and go for a run in the woods, now the app won’t even open without internet or 4glte, which isn’t possible where I live and run

ERCast App was better
Title pretty much says it all. Audio sometimes goes multiple octaves too high when on 2x. Auto play won’t stay on no matter how many times it is toggled. App frequently gets stuck on the playback speed option and requires reset.
Content is great, but the ERCast app was 100% better.
