Identified a common garden spider as a “Fourteen spotted lady beetle” and also identified a common centipede as an “Eight spotted lady beetle” DO NOT USE!!!

Lots of ads. Identified a Crane Fly as a Monarch butterfly. I easily found out my bug just using Google. I don’t like all the adds so I’m deleting.
Rubbish
So I have tried a lot of insects since I downloaded the app. None of the answers had any resemblance to any of the insects. It needs fixing ASAP. Most of the time it keeps saying something like the “harlequin beetle” I think
What a purrfectly broken bug scanner
Hello! I installed this app a couple weeks ago to scan a potato bug, and it said it was a cicada! I then deleted it, reinstalled yesterday to scan my pet slug, George, and it thinks he is a White Sphinx Caterpillar. I scanned him again today with a different photo, now it thinks he is a monarch. Please fix this. 🥺

Found a weird bug that I’ve never seen in our area. App identified perfectly.
Useless and endless ads
Pointed it at a large spider and it very helpfully told me that it was a spider. I tried again and it told me that it was some kind of insect that bore no resemblance to the spider. How do they get away with this rubbish?

Inaccurate
Same photo produced 3 different (wildly different) identifications. Checked with 2 other apps and did further research online and I discovered none were accurate.
Worked well
Couldn’t find out what the insect was but found this app and it said Jerusalem cricket, I looked on line and that’s exactly what is is! Very happy
What?
I sent a picture of a spider, trying to specifically identify the type. The app said it was probably a bumblebee. That made me laugh. I will try again a few mor other insects bei delete the app.

Took 5 pics of the same bug and got 5 different bug names!
