Limited enjoyment - tedious
This game provides very little incentive to progress. There are three rather unchallenging games one must play to earn rewards needed to progress. They quickly become exceedingly boring. Rewards are low and take forever to accumulate sufficiently to allow for progress.Dongo12345
Cheap cheap
Lovely artwork, amusing tasks but Much Too Cheap with the points. You have to play games to get more points to do more tasks but you get very few points for each game played. Only have a choice of three simple games. Must play over and over and over to get points. TOO STUPID!!! BORING BORING!!!

Wish the catalogue had more options
Unlike others, I have played the three games and earned thousands of points. The cleanup was easy, and I don’t mind earning points to buy new furniture, rugs, and paint. However, the catalogue offerings are VERY limiting. I’ve only had this app since last week and am getting bored with the lack of options.Show lesshotdogx2
Summer Garden app is a rip-off!!
I just purchased this app, played it once but now I can’t get back in to play again; instead I’m told I have to buy it - again!!! I want a refund immediately!wjt-1
Make Rewards Easier
I agree with Harmony 09. Have been a Jacquie Lawson fan for years but would like the app better if I could fix up the cottage more quickly. Game rewards should be much more generous or repairs much cheaper. Lovely graphics as always.USAFmom3
Honest review
I think (from experience with Jaquie Lawson in the past) this adorable interior design game needs a few tweaks. For instance, I’ve noticed that in the advent calendars the pets move when you finish playing a game, but in this the pets just, well, sit there.
The other problem is the repairs cost a lot of gems, for example the tiny writing desk cost 110 to repair! And the roof cost 300!
However, having to wait and earn the gems over time teaches you patience, which is good.
So, in summary, it’s an excellent game, but could use improvement.

Not worth the download.
Hour upon hour of boring solitaire to “earn” a very meager few dollars. The most enjoyable play was pushing the delete button.jeb+
Please fix lost progress!
So disappointing that progress in games is lost if left for even only a short while. Let the dogs out, games progress lost. Take a phone call, games progress lost. Have to keep starting from scratch. Taking too long to buy new furniture for the cottage when this keeps happening. Shame. It’s becoming too frustrating.Show lessPz1111
Huge fan of JL, but this is a boring grind
My wife and I are huge fans of Jacque Lawson, but this misses the mark. I don’t mind the idea of playing a game to earn points to clean up the cottage, but the payoff is bad. Two main problems. First off, the developer seems to think their fans have all the time in the world to play this. It takes way too long to earn the points to clean up one small thing. The point earnings need to be drastically improved. I don’t get JL apps in order to grind away, I get them because I enjoy the music and graphics and playing the games a couple of times. Second problem is that the creative side is missing here. In other JL products, the Advent Calendar and the Garden, the philosophy and goal is that we get to be creative and decorate our own way. In this cottage, on the other hand, we grind to earn points so we can press a white dot to clean something up. This app seems to be made in a completely different philosophy than other JL products and I am not a fan of the change.Show lessGerdofal
Stealing money
I paid for the expansion last night. This morning I no longer have access to it. Restoring purchases doesn’t work. There is zero excuse for this issue continuing this long. Should be pulled down from App Store.Bhilithinn
