Buggiest app I’ve ever seen
Doesn’t let you print permits after scheduling them, says “visitor parking permit not available” via the app, but lets you schedule via the web interface, is confusing and nonstandard, and provides no way to upload screenshots to request help in the app.
This app is so terrible that you have to assume some type of nepotism or cronyism was involved in awarding the development contract. Still awful years later. What a waste of residents’ time.Wtersch

Useless
The app is so poorly designed from a use experience perspective. Here are some examples:
1) Just trying to login is impossible (I always have to create a new password every time I want to login, since I always get an error message saying my username/password is invalid). Upon creating my new password, I can login that one time. But the stupid app logs you out automatically each time, forcing you to renter your username and password, which it then never recognizes. And I have to start the whole process of password recovery again and again…
2) it offers fingerprint recognition but not face recognition (which would really help with the whole app not recognizing your password issue). They obviously do not keep track with advances in technology!
3) the app is THE OPPOSITE OF INTUITIVE. I consider myself pretty technologically saavy, yet it took me a while to understand how it works. I feel bad for older folks or just people who do not navigate technology as well.
Conclusion: this is a necessary evil DC residents will have to put up with until someone in the DC government bothers to take responsibility for spending tens of thousands of our tax payer dollars for garbage, and to make all our lives more difficult!gilfio

I can log into the portal in safari and i cant log into the app. Shaking my head at this, par for the course with DC trying to use technology to update a system that worked fine for me and my visitors.simpleTech555
