App doesnt work
I can log into the portal in safari and i cant log into the app. Shaking my head at this, par for the course with DC trying to use technology to update a system that worked fine for me and my visitors.
App is non functional
I set up my account, added a car, got ready to print and none of the buttons work. There’s no ability to print your permit and the share button is useless. Leave it up to the DC government to turn a simple parking pass system into a complicated one that requires an app, a printer, and doesn’t even work.

Useful App for Visitors but…
Getting a paper permit allowed visitors to park for two weeks. This app requires me to renew visitor passes every day.
DDOT website states residents can get a permit using the app. This is incorrect. This app only works for visitors. There is no clear way to renew or obtain the RPP (DC residential parking permit).
Minor: when clicking on messages, you can see the beginning of the message but there is no way to open the message to read the whole thing.

Missing address
Tried to set up an account as a resident. I’m on Spring rd in 20010. My address can’t be found and there’s
no way to proceed to step 3 without looking up your address.

Address issue
Does not recognize my address on one of DC’s most well known streets!! Useless.
App needs work/updates
I’m a DC resident and my address (Rhode Island Ave NW) is unavailable within the DC Parking Permit app. App is useless if I can’t connect the app account to my residence. Very Disappointed.
Tax money well spent
Both the host and the guest have to download the app and set up accounts, but that doesn’t take long, and then the permit(s) come(s) through instantly. I’m very glad to see the city implement something that actually makes life better and easier.
Garbage
I should’ve expected a DC government app to fail…
