Cannot Call or Message
I’m writing this here because I assume it’s an issue with the application. I could be wrong, but there’s a lot of people online complaining of the same problem, and they are all on iPhones.
My Meta Ray Bans don’t seem to be working. They are connected to my phone via Bluetooth. They will play music and even read messages, but they won’t send messages or make phone calls. I have given permission to all contacts in my Bluetooth settings and on the Meta View app. I have updated the glasses, the app, and my phone’s operating system. I have unpaired and re-paired. I have did a factory reset on the glasses and re-paired with my phone. I even did a factory reset and paired with my daughter’s phone. I also uninstalled the meta view app and reinstalled. All of this gave me the same results. I’ll ask the glasses to make a call and then Meta says, “call who?” After repeating the contact name, Meta says, “This app isn’t supported.” iOS 18.2 on my iPhone 11. I also had the same problem before updating the iOS on the phone. Additionally I have tried to make calls with Siri on and off with the same results. I also closed every app except the Meta View app with the same results
