App could be better

Too many times I go to playback or save a video and then it tells me the clip is corrupted and it deletes it on its own. I even have SD cards in and it still does this at times. The Chillax Home camera will freeze or go slow motion and lose audio at the end of some video clips. I can’t recall if I experience that with the Giraffe which I use for my babies crib. The parent unit would be nicer if the picture actual fit the frame and you could move around zoom in, or if the parent unit would work with the Home cameras as it does not support those.
Also, if I turn off someone ability to see the monitor that I share it with, it does not stop them from being able to view the camera.
I have to uncheck the cameras they have access to because simply just turning their ability to view off doesn’t work or delete them entirely.
And when you reject someone the video goes away but audio is still there.
Lots of “bugs”
But besides these minor issues, I enjoy this monitoring system and still would recommend it.

App is terrible

The app never loads. I have to close and reopen several times and sometimes it still doesn’t work. Just shows the useless facts over and over. It doesn’t record baby actually moving because the video freezes so the first 10 seconds the video is frozen. What’s the point of having a WiFi monitor if the app never works.

Huge disappointment

I don’t typically leave reviews. But this app needs fixed. You have to pay more just to keep photos and videos; the app crashes every time I open Albums, so I can’t even access what I’ve been paying for. The camera also doesn’t catch when baby moves. This thing will notice the light dimming but not my baby crawling around in bed. He will be up and going, with no notification or recording of him getting up. The screen freezes often. The videos that it does catch lags, so it’s frozen for 10 seconds of the 30 second video.

Was excited, but not so much anymore

The app camera view doesn’t work more often than it works. I’d day it’s frozen 80% of the time with the ability to view the live camera maybe 20% of the time. This definitely needs to be fixed as the purpose of this app is to monitor the safety of our little ones.

Often app doesn’t load

The app often doesn’t load, even in good wifi. If I have the music playing on the camera I can’t turn it off in the app and it’s really annoying. I have to unplug the camera to turn off the music.

4 piece FAILURE

I purchased this 4 pack product and initially it worked great, until December and again in January. The units just gives error messages then I do this whole song and dance on FOUR units and nothing worked. After 3 days it decided to function again, now my units are completely off tried resetting/pairing etc NOTHING! All my registered information is gone I deleted app reinstalled still nothing. Sent company emails on warranty replacement and waiting on reply.

Good camera

Good camera , love everything about it , iv had it since July , was gifted at my baby shower .
Love all the features / take pics , record , track feedings,diaper changings and consistency , and lots more . Mine has all of a sudden started having issues I can not delete my feeding recording trackers history to start over for the next day . Everything has frozen with the tracking timer . Have never had any issues with it until now with the app . Leaving 3 stars

Extremely Unreliable

The app is nice in theory, but it rarely works. It constantly cuts in and out, and loads the camera maybe 25% of the time. You can try opening and closing the app a bunch of times, but that doesn’t always work either.

I would NEVER suggest relying on it at night. I can almost guarantee you that it’ll cut out at some point, which will close out the app while you are sleeping.

On the rare occasion that the app actually does work, it would deserve five stars. However, it only works a quarter of the time.

Keeps freezing

Our pro camera keeps disconnecting and we have to reconnect every so often but when we do go to reconnect thru the app its freezes when we go to scan the bar code we have no clue why it’s keeps happening
