  • A much needed app!

    I first downloaded this app after seeing Lucy on Instagram. I really related to her and was just starting out my fitness journey, Lucy and her team have made me feel so confident with this app. I’ve completed the school of nobs and I can’t wait to complete more! A much needed app if you’re just starting out or if you need a bit of guidance and assurance when working out. I love the choice of food, the daily check in and pep talks. I can’t wait to see what the team brings next.

  • Takes away gym anxiety

    Really great for giving you a warm up you can do at home, then structure for the gym so you’re not wandering around trying to remember what you’re doing. My gym is small so I prioritise the moves that need a machine and then improvise with other kit if certain areas are busy. Has given me the motivation to get back into a daily routine without needing to exercise my think organ all that much. Top banana.

  • Best👏🏻 fitness 👏🏻 app👏🏻 ever 👏🏻

    Why? I hear you say?

    1-multiple plans depending on your fitness level, equipment, environment and prefered frequency.
    2-the ability to switch to an equivalent exercice during your training (!!!) Don’t have to wait if the gym is busy or don’t have to do an exercise that you just hate.
    3-videos and step by step explanation for every exercise! No shame if you didn’t know how to properly do something and no need to open YouTube all the time.
    4-delicious recipes (see how I didn’t use the word diet here) with new drops every now and then.
    5- (saved the best for last) NO BURPEES EVER.

    My opinion may or may not be biased because I have been following nobs since way before the lauch of this app, but I figured most of you stopped reading at this point. Never in my life have I finished a program before and I did 3 with nobs!

    Also the app is always improving because the developers actually listen to what we want 🫶🏻 it just keeps getting better. So so worth it.

  • Love this app idea but lots of issues

    I love this app’s intent. Workouts are good. Instruction is pretty good. Has helped so much with gym anxiety.

    It’s just so glitchy and there are certain things that aren’t included that seem so basic or are counter intuitive. Being able to look back on workouts for example. You have to pretend to start a workout to see it. I also like to do the workouts out of order due to different equipment (cable machine, to mat, back to cable machine?). There’s no way to reorder and if you do the last exercise first it will automatically end my workout. It also always give me 100% when I know I didn’t do all the reps. Hire me, I’ll help with the little inconsistencies ;)

  • The only fitness app I’ve managed to stick with

    First of all I love this app!! I have been a gym user for over 10 years. Before downloading this I was in a bit of a rut, I wasn’t enjoying exercise and struggled with body image related self-esteem. This is the only fitness app that I have ever downloaded and actually stuck to. I finally feel like I have found the perfect programme that incorporates my love of fitness and my hatred of diet culture. I love how there is no focus what so ever on your weight, tracking your food or what you look like! I feel excited and motivated to go to the gym, a lot less body conscious and it is all thanks to this app.

    I like how you can change the order or the type of exercise to make the workout fit around you. Any time I have had an issue with the app, the NOBS team has been super quick to help out, which is a really nice personal touch that some other apps lack.

    Only improvements I would like to see:
    - a cool down feature like other reviewers have said
    - an indication at week 7 of the senior programme that the reps are going to increase a lot!
    - some milestone pop-ups or banners e.g ‘you are half way through the programme’ or ‘well-done you hit your highest number of reps’ to celebrate your achievements!

  • Big Nob Energy

    This is the only fitness app that I’ll use. Love every exercise and perfect balance of exercise types. has revolutionised my idea of a ‘proper workout’ not including burpees!!! Also love the warm ups which I was previously guilty of skipping due to lack of creativeness.
    No bugs on my app like previous reviews - have been using for three months.
    Would like exercises to save my previous weights more consistently and perhaps have a function to see history (not about pbs or numbers, would just help in knowing what weights to confidently pick up from the rack etc)
    Also please introduce a student discount!!

  • Great idea, app needs more work

    I love the concept and Lucy’s stance on the toxic diet/weight-loss community, with her trying to combat that and make the movement and fitness world an all-inclusive place.
    I’ve just come back to the app after a couple months break and I found it to be more buggy than before.
    Every time I try to swap out a workout the app crashes, so instead I need to go to Google/YouTube to find an alternative exercise.
    I just finished a workout and on the end screen it crashed and chucked me out, not recording my workout.
    I can’t express enough how much I love the idea behind this app and will keep supporting Lucy, but I also can’t wait for these pesky bugs to be fixed!!!
    A quick suggestion too - have the app force the phone not to auto-lock whilst in it? At the minute I need to go to settings each time before a workout and turn off auto-lock on my phone - thanks!

  • Good workout plans but some persistent bugs

    I’ve been using the app since it came out and have persevered with the bugs because I enjoy the workouts. But I have had several bugs over this time. I started a new programme three weeks ago and the app has stopped allowing me to track the weights I use. I have reached out to the customer service team and had quite generic responses back. This isn’t the first time I have had this problem with weight tracking. The app also changes the workout each day incrementally, regardless of wether I complete it or not.

    As I said, I enjoy the workout structure and content so have continued with the app but it’s becoming harder to ignore when I can’t track my workouts.

  • Workouts are great, don’t waste money on app

    The workouts, plan, and philosophy are great but the app itself is extremely glitchy. Mine hasn’t been tracking data or progress for over 3 weeks, crashes easily, and keeps switching back to kgs instead of lbs. I’ve contacted people through customer service & their Instagram but no one has gotten back! It’s one of the more expensive apps out there, do not recommend.

  • Complete, safe and gives results

    I’ve been using nobs for about a year. In that time I’ve seen great improvement in my strength and endurance. The workouts are well put together, compliment the yoga and cardio that I do, and have the stamp of approval from my daughter who is a chiropractor.
