Must have app for freelancers

Very drawn out
I’m giving 3 stars, because they at least give you a reminder when your free trial is ending. But it was an unpleasant process to say the least. You could at least punch me with the price before I link anything.

Hoping things get better.
I subscribed back in January. I felt 1 week wasn’t that long of a trial. But I had high hopes.
Now I feel like a paid for a beta version. The date format isn’t adjustable - the in app selector is dd/mm/yyyy which takes some getting used to. And for some reason lots of my expenses auto fill the date for the wrong date. Lots of places in the app don’t use iOS spell check and I have to proofread a lot more - this isn’t what I need from an app that’s supposed to save me time. Some of my accounts don’t sync - but that’s not necessarily on FlyFin.
I have run into problems though with the account syncing - a credit card that I use daily stopped syncing a month ago. I’ve reached out to support and I haven’t gotten any response. This isn’t the first time - most of my emails to FlyFin directly go unanswered. When I reach out via the CPA feature, I always hear back.
I’ll update my review if things get better.
But right now I’m really hoping my tax return in April is worth the $190 I paid. Tax prep is going to have to be beyond amazing to make up for all the little issues I’ve had. Right now FlyFin is just barely better than my other accounting solutions.

It’s interesting that they only respond once I state the same exact problem but on a public platform. Where was this type of customer support when it mattered, before I had to get my bank involved? It’s too late now for fixing the issue, I fixed it myself and luckily got refunded in full by my bank for the fraudulent charge.
