Fraudulent practices

I do not recommend this app not developer. I followed the cancellation policy per their terms of service when I realized a day of using the app. And I was still charged $192. I have reported FlyFin to our states Attorneys General since they will not return emails! This app requires you to connect all your vital financial accounts without you even knowing who is viewing or who has access to your information and now you won't even return an email! DO NOT TRY THIS APP!!!

Non-responsive CPA customer service

There were same missing credit card bank statement in my account and I was told to upload them in order to get my deductible calculated and analyzed.

I sent my bank statement to FlyFin and waited for 5 days but I hear no response from them at all, nor did I see an update on my deductible files.

Taxes are due April 18th this year. I wrote to FlyFin asking for an update on the bank statement yet i haven’t heard back from them! Extremely disappointed with their service.

Terrible

I wanted to love this app but it seemed too good to be true . I downloaded this app at the end of February and was able to upload my banking info . One of my banks did not sync its transactions well , after reaching out to flyfin they did tell me I could submit a csv file and they would upload it on their end , it took about a good week to get that done . Fast forward to having all of my documents submitted for tax filing on 3/4, I’ve yet to receive a response from anyone as to how long the process will take. It’s going to be about a month now since I’ve submitted documents .the last time I emailed them was 3/22 and I’ve yet to receive a reply to the one pending question I’ve asked over and over and over …. “how long does the tax filing process take ?” . I feel I am a fairly patient person , I understand it is tax season , but at least answer my question and give me a time frame . At this point I am thinking they have all my personal information and I’m an idiot for trusting them😭. Poor customer service , there is no phone number to speak to anyone , just a form to submit or an email to send . Would I recommend this app? As of today not for any tax filing purposes . So beyond upset with this company 😞.

the billing on this app is scamming

The scamming for the billing department to a BIG PROBLEM. This is my second time trying out this app. I have the same complaints. Customer support is my biggest problem. I’m not referring to the CPA option. I have questions about the services, and the wait time starts at 24 hours. No way! Not in the fast-paced tech industry?! The pricing needs to match the slow response times from customer support. 24-hour live chat support can be found anywhere. The features are great, but if you are going to use the TAX industry as your niche for this app, the theme that “Time is of the essence “ must be a top priority of this platform. I look forward to seeing the improvements.

Scammers

Misleading subscribe and trial procedure forcing you to "accidentally" subscribe by giving two options : 1. Subscribe for premium, 2. Stay on standard.
But you're not on standard which is paid plan too. You're on trial. But when you see these to options popping up on you screen, you definitely hit "stay..." refusing premium. Boom - and they charge you 200.
I didn't expect anything like that in apple official app store.

Great for 1099

Minutes in I was blown away with the UI and ease this app creates for understanding and organizing deductions. I have been doing 1099 for YEARS and even after all my exp this app showed me write offs I did not even know I could do! I imagine this app with time will become very popular.

Poor Execution

-Doesn't accept Apple Card statements

-You have to pay to see how it calculated your taxes even during the "free" trial period

-They request doucments, but you have to email them rather than simply uploading via the app (they already take your SS#, so what's the deal here?)

-The email address they want you to send it to doesn't work

Don’t give them your card number

I downloaded the app and tried it for 2 days. It’s not suitable for my business so I cancelled the account. A week later I received an email that the company was trying to charge my card for the account. I emailed them that it was canceled and went to the app and did the cancellation process again. I have received 2 additional emails that the company is trying to charge me for the cancelled account. Don’t give them your card information.

Life Saver

I had done a poor job tracking biz expenses this year luckily I found this app. I was able to knock out categorizing all 2000+ purchases in like an hour it’s incredible.
