You need to review your apps
1) Please when a rider places an order , the next thing that should pop up is for the rider to call or text the driver to confirm before the driver moves. Some riders place an order and cancel when the driver is already close to the location. Some riders don’t even pick up their call nor reply to text to give their exact location. So you should make it in such a way that the is an automatic pop up for confirmation before the driver moves.
2) You should create an inapp electronic wallet for riders which they can recharge and pay for their trip like the driver recharge their balance to avoid any misunderstanding. And a percentage should be cut off from the riders balance if they place an order and cancel when the driver is already on his way. In this way you shall have more serious riders.
3) Your app should start considering dirt roads and make the tariffs higher for dirt roads and secondary roads because drivers at times need to go for a car wash or car maintain after accessing those dirt roads. Or each riders journey should end at the main road because some riders now take advantage of the fact that they can send a negative feedback through their app even though visibly they see your Vehicle cannot access certain roads.
3) Driver security should be premium.You need to get all information from the rider same as you get all information from the drivers, not just a phone number. You should at least get the riders Identified (ID card number, photo, phone number etc)When placing an order the riders should have a questionnaire which questions them on how many persons the driver is coming to pick up and asking if they are going to get into secondary roads.
At times we transport people late at night to very dangerous areas and I guess you do not have any information on those people the driver transports , just a phone number. What if something bad happens to the driver?
4) I think your priority points should not depend only on the riders comments or review but on the drivers activity. It’s okay to loose more activity point rather than just -1 or -2. We cannot always count on what people say because each rider is free to write whatever he/she wants be it true or not. Mentalities vary.
