  • loved it before update

Okay so i was on like level 24 or something like that, but today after i updated it, my thing had been reset to 18, which just so happened to be the most annoying level for me. I also dislike how now instead of automatically knowing if you were wrong, you have to watch an ad. I know you get a free one after the update, but i didn’t know what it meant so i wasted it on a blank canvas. Something you should add is being able to zoom in on the grid, because the size of my phone makes it so small and i always misclick. If you can find a way to reboot me back to my level and take away that mistake thing, i’ll go back to using this app instead of a new one.

EDIT: Im convinced y’all are screwing with me. The day after i posted this review (aka today) i check the app again because i had a small form of hope that maybe, just maybe you had fixed it. But nope. I would’ve understood if my level had still remained on 18, but now it has moved down AGAIN to level 13. I’ve been moved down over 10 levels within 2 days. Im this close 🤏 to deleting the app. :(

  • Report button needed.

This is actually quite an addictive game, great for logic puzzle solver types, really gets your brain working on the harder levels. However it’s biggest flaw (apart from me needing more of it!) is that there are way too many levels with mistakes; typos, poorly written clues, or just clues that don’t match with the grid (“Chris ate 0 cakes” for example, but the gird only lists 1-4, 0 isn’t an option). This would be so easy to solve if there was just an option somewhere in the game to report broken levels so developers knew which ones to look at and fix.

Hello! Thank you for playing Cross Logic and giving a feedback! We'll take in consideration all your wishes and improve our game by the next update:)
  • Fun, But Could Be Better

I’ve enjoyed doing logic puzzles for years and these are good for the most part, but there are a few issues. Some of the clues are very poorly worded, which makes it a bit confusing, and in at least one puzzle, the clues don’t even match the options on the grid! Example: Hard Level 6 talks about fruit and the options in the puzzle are Pineapples, Watermelons, Melons, Bananas, and Grapefruits. However, one of the clues mentions Mangos, and another one mentions Kiwi! This makes the puzzle impossible to solve. Very disappointing.

Hi there! Thank you for your feedback. This particular puzzle is a known issue and we are already planning a fix soon. Meanwhile, we temporarily turned off this puzzle. Stay tuned for the updates!
  • The new update

Yes, the toggle button was a little bit annoying… But I prefer it 30 times more than this new update. The toggle made it simple while this new update made everything more confusing! And then getting rid of the 3 try’s!! Like what?? So I am supposed to get through the entire game and then at the end be told I have 4 or 5 mistakes and then redo the entire level? No. It is a waste of time. Also to add the levels (before the useless update) would glitch out and make me redo a bunch of them. I was on level 60 on normal and I had to redo levels from 50! In all, this was a good game and very addicting. I didn’t even mind the ads because it was such a good game (until it had me redo levels). But now, with this update, it’s more confusing I am making more errors than before since I have to double tap and I’m not being told what I did wrong. I was slowly getting the pattern and the hang of it but now it’s like I’m wandering in the dark, blind to any lead.

But in the end it WAS a pleasant game until more came

  • I’d love to give 5 stars but…

This game is pretty addicting. If you get easily frustrated over mechanics that seem unfair, it’s not for you. To go from check marks to X’s you gotta remember to hit the switch every time. So when you forget, you make a mistake. You only get three mistakes. You can turn off the mistake counter or up it I think, but that made my game glitch and there’s no fun in that!
I really think the switch mechanic needs an upgrade, maybe something that stands out more so it’s not as forgettable.
Those are just little things. Even with these criticisms I would give it 5 stars. The big thing that made me immediately delete it the recycling of these puzzles.
I played through all the normal levels, and I noticed a few times that I would get the same puzzle. I thought maybe I failed it and forgot, or maybe it was slightly different than before to make it harder.
After finishing normal, I was 15 levels into hard when I got the same exact puzzle as a few levels before. There’s nothing that turns me off a game more than repeatedly doing something I’ve already accomplished. I hope you fix this for future players but I think I pretty much got the whole experience from playing all the normal levels.

Hi there! The thing is that once you complete the available puzzles, they may start repeating. What you can do is move on to the next level (if not yet). We are also planning to add more puzzles, so stay tuned! We've noted the rest of the feedback, too.
  • Too short

I downloaded this game because I enjoy logic problems; it seemed like a good fit. It’s simple to play, although the grid is a bit small on my phone, so I often click the wrong grid square; not a big deal, because you get 3 chances. I tried a couple of games in easy and medium modes, but they were much too simple to be interesting, so I settled on the most difficult level. I enjoyed playing it, but unfortunately I finished all the games in a day or two; so I contacted support to find out if more levels were available through some means I hadn’t noticed. They responded quickly with a thank you for contacting them, but offered nothing; so basically it appears to be a throwaway game, finish it in a day or two and that’s all there is… Pretty disappointing overall…
UPDATE-The newest version does allow the Hard level to continue counting upwards, it no longer says MAX; but it’s still repeating puzzles, I haven’t seen a new one yet. Still, it’s an improvement…
They also added an option on how to switch between checks and Xs, something I saw requested in other reviews; so I will say thst the developer is trying to be responsive, and that in itself is a very good thing! I increased my review to 4 stars for responsiveness…
I’m looking forward to the next update…

Hi! Thank you so much for rating us and sharing your concerns. Indeed, currently the game does have a "limit", but we are planning to add more puzzles and levels for sure. Stay tuned for updates!
  • Not challenging for people who do logic puzzles

    I found these too easy.

Hi! Thank you for reviewing us. We'd love to make the app better for you. How would you improve the app? What kinds of puzzles would you like to see there? We'll appreciate your feedback.
  • Good game. Could be better.

Choosing to round up the rating because of the last update. The latest update, which makes playing the next game easier was a big improvement. My issue is sloppy, perhaps even lazy, writing in the clues. Example 1: Mr Smith injured his leg in March, so he scheduled his vacation for the next season. The solution was summer. Unfortunately, March (in the northern hemisphere) starts in winter and ends in spring. The clue is ambiguous at best. Changing March to April makes it correct with no ambiguity. Example 2: A group of jewelers each specialize in making a type of jewelry: rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. The clue reads that Mrs. Smith likes rings, which is supposed to mean that she makes rings. These are logic puzzles. Liking something does not mean one specializes in making it. This is sloppy and is exactly the kind of red herring other puzzles use to throw off the user. Clean up the writing.

  • Not well thought out

Too many puzzles don’t have enough information, clues are redundant or repeated.

    Developer Response

Hi and thank you for mentioning this! We can assure you that we've checked and double-checked the game logic and confirm that all the tasks and clues work together. Thus, could you please let us know which task doesn't seem correct so we look into it further? You can email us at support@gismart.com. Appreciate this!
  • Could Be Better

I love logic puzzles and some of these have been a lot of fun, but I will probably delete this app for two reasons.
    1) As many others have stated, the ads are ridiculous in their length and run longer than many of the puzzles themselves.
    2) What really bothers me however, is the fact that you have very very inappropriate ads on your app that I just started getting tonight. Children often play games like these and I have used such problems like these in my math classroom for many years but the ad shown, with three women barely dressed in lingerie, talking about lust and one of them holding a whip is just absurd! Do you even think about the audience these games would be played by? So totally inappropriate to find ads like those on games kids may be playing. I will very likely be this app tonight as I don’t want those things popping up on my screen when I have little ones with me.
