I actually really love this game but the app has erased my progress twice now in the last week. Pretty disappointedLokhffng
Wiped out my progress :(
I was really enjoying this game. I completed a few of the easy and hard levels and 30-something normal levels. Then the game suddenly wiped all my progress. It did that twice in the same day so I decided to delete the app. It would’ve gotten a solid 4 stars if it hadn’t done that.NYOUNG123
Play a level. Watch an ad repeat
Why is nobody talking about the fact the game doesn’t even give a score before bombarding you with another ad. I mean I don’t mind watching them to not pay but holy crap, give us a chance to play 5 minutes. Really? How is this 4.7 stars. SMHLe@hciM
A lot of fun but occasionally frustrating
I downloaded this app and jumped right into the hard levels, which were a lot of fun. Once I finished those, I moved on and did the easy and normal levels which is where I started noticing problems. A few of the puzzles had clues that didn’t quite check out, for example clue 6 of normal level 56 combined with the previous clues, states that Tina should be either the project manager or HR, but the puzzle grid itself marks it as a mistake if you choose anything other than designer. There were also a few puzzles with clues that were a bit unclear: one clue mentioned a basilisk to refer to a cockatrice in the grid (cockatrices and basilisks are sometimes treated as synonymous but it’s not necessarily clear); another puzzle had a clue that stated “you need some vampire saliva”, “some” was not one of the listed quantities in the puzzle and it took some trial and error to figure out it referred to the smallest quantity. There have also been a few puzzles, particularly in the normal levels, that I have been able to solve to a point where I end up with a 50/50 choice that is not made clear by any of the clues, perhaps these could be attributed to my own lack of skill, however.
Overall, the game is a lot of fun and a good way to engage your brain even if it does cause some degree of frustration at times.Show lessWosprig
Could be better
I was enjoying working my way through, despite some poorly spelt and worded questions and one that was completely wrong; but I was interrupted and left one puzzle partly finished, and when I came back to it a completely different puzzle loaded.
Finally, after I’d used it for a couple of days, it reloaded right back to the start and I wasn’t interested in working my way back to the levels I’d reached so I deleted it.
Also, the squares on the more complex puzzles are so small I got sick of tapping a square and having my check mark registering in the wrong square.Show lessAli Campbell
Doesn’t save progress
The game itself is good. I enjoyed the puzzles I did but it doesn’t save where you’re at. I tried twice and both times I was taken back to the tutorial and has to re-solve puzzles I had already previously solved. I have since deleted the game because of thisBffhhffvhnv
Great but…
I was really enjoying this game, and had reached max levels for normal and hard modes. When I went on the app later, all my progress had gone. Now whenever I go on the app, the game is reset, and I have to do the demo, and am back at level one.StarshineHannah
