  • Very Unreliable

We booked a 5-day trip through RVshare, but when we arrive at the pick up point at scheduled time, NO ONE showed up (imagine in a rural area and we took half an hour Uber to get there). Of course the RV was not there as well and the owner didn’t answer any of our calls. We had to call the customer service and got to know that the RV was still in the shop for maintenance or something. They can do nothing but refund us at that point. So we had to spend another $100 to take Uber back to the town and look for alternative. I would not take the risk to use RVshare again.

  • disappointing experience with few support

We booked an RV a month ago. At the day of pickup, the owner didn't showed up, we were left there waiting for two hours. Imanging five of us stand by the road, with luggages. Not even notify us beforehand. We called the RVShare for help, they didn't provide any useful support. They just cancelled the reservation. The cancellation ruined our trip, and the company refused to provide any compensation for this event.
Use it if you want an uncertain and awful trip.

  • Horrible changes in one year

Rv share has changed insurance companies for their rentals this year. Nothing but problems . The insurance is not an option. I have had two renters whose insurance info they submitted was somehow deleted without their knowledge, then rv share canceled the reservation without consulting them or me first. One of the renters just didn't want to bother with the resubmission and canceled. The other renter who has rented from us three other times was made to feel inept by the customer service agent. This is not acceptable. The customer service dept is outsourced to a different country and the agents do not speak english well, and they talk very fast. I will be deleting my listing as soon as my current renters are finished. I highly recommend rv share considers these issues. I would not recommend using rv share to anyone given these issues.

  • App is fine, insurance is a scam

When I rented the RV I was told I could use my own insurance, AAA to cover myself while renting. Once I submitted the documents closer to the date of departure RVshare denied them saying their new insurance provider Digisure who I’m paying for requires all renters to use their service. So now I’m stuck paying $600 for inferior insurance compared to my own, with a $1500 deductible vs $500 through my own carrier with better coverage. This is my first and last time using RVshare.

  • Decent App, has bugs

Great features but a couple bugs. I used my Apple ID to create an account and it uses an Apple ID relay for my email. The app isn’t compatible with this an it wouldn’t process
my reservation. Customer service couldn’t figure it out so I asked them to change my email to my personal email and it worked. There was also a bug adding my DL picture and my picture. It kept creating an error, I reinstalled the app and it accepted the pictures and I submitted. Then weeks later they refunded my credit card and that’s the only way I knew my reservation was cancelled. I thought we were all set. They claimed they never received my pictures for insurance verification and cancelled me. But no call or email notice. Not even a notice in the app.

  • Freedom elite 22fe motor coach 2020

Ronnie was one of the best rv owner that answered our questions we had in a short period of time. This was our first time renting an rv from Ronnie and it was fun and great. We hope to rent this again from ronnie soon. You were great ronnie and I will give u a 15 star rating for showing us around on the rv and telling us about how to operate the vehicle. Thanks so much for your convenience Ronnie.

  • Class C RV camper

The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. The unit was basically clean and drove well, but our expectations were not met. When we travel we like clean sheets, hot showers, and cool air to breathe (to avoid asthma attack). There were no sheets or towels, no electrical hookup nor any AC unit offered, no water hookup. We could easily have brought King-size sheets and towels if we had known we needed to, but to have no access to cool air was not acceptable. We had to get a room, which was much less than the $185/ night for the RV. We were very disappointed. Thanks for the opportunity to vent.

  • Bad experience

Tried RVshare once and it didn't end up well. When returning the RV, The owner told us that there would be some damage and mileage charges totaling about $300. Those fees were listed on a RV return form and we signed and the owner kept the form. But the owner later added more damage charges and even a late fee and the total went over $500... The owner refused to provide anything to justify the change or even a copy of the signed form. We contacted RVshare several times but they just kept emphasizing the charges are reasonable... After some efforts, we found that in fact any RV owner can charge an extra fee without any proof as long as the fee is less than $600. This “$600 hidden fee” rule was written somewhere in RVShare’s user agreements. So every renter should be prepared to pay an extra hidden fee and you can do nothing about it...

  • Horrible app/ZERO STARS

My biggest complaint is that I can’t help anyone from the app. If someone wants to add or change something I can’t help my customers and get them what they want or need and they think that it’s my fault. Not everyone is sitting at home 24/7 in front of a computer to be able to watch what is going on with potential renters and be able to help them. If I could give this a zero star rating I would.

  • What a joke!

I was intrigued in starting an RV rental business. So I starting researching everything and called RV Share and asked all the the questions I could, specially one. “Is there an age requirement” they told me no, you can post whatever age RV you want. Well after listing a Tent Trailer I specially bought for renting out, there was several cancellations by RV Share after people booked. They said it was an insurance form the renter didn’t fill out at first, then they tell them it’s RV Shares insurance and the trailer is too old…. Hmmmm. So I call and ask after an hour in the phone and yep it’s true, I can post the trailer but the insurance company they use can’t insure it. These workers aren’t knowledgeable and wasted a lot of my time and money! Thanks for nothing, this company is a joke!
