Trail period is a Scam
I trued the trail tried to cancel 2 days before the end is the trial still charged me 17.99, for this reason aline don't buy this app from people who lie and lure you into a suppose trialDeveloper Response
I'm really sorry about the trouble. All billing and cancellations are handled by Apple. if you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of trial, you shouldn't be charged. If that's not the case, please email help@shutter.dev (or click "Contact Support" in the "Support" tab) and we will be happy to help with a refund. -GrzegorzJunk

Great app.Good!
My only complaint so far is that there is NO WAY to return to the app once you select import photos. Everything else seems good, especially the ability to start video recording remotely.
[edit]
I am now able to navigate back and forth between screens, although the buttons appear to be grayed out. Thanks to the dev for following up!Show lessDeveloper Response
Hi Ted, thank you for the feedback. I just tested this feature again and was able to navigate back and forth between the connection screen and import photos screen. Would you be able to reach out to me at help@shutter.dev so that we can investigate the problem further (or click "Email support" in the "Support" tab)?Did not work for my Canon 90D
I tried repeatedly to reconnect to my 90D after the first successful Bluetooth pairing. I had to delete my first pairing so that I can subsequently reconnect the camera to my iPhone. I ended up having to do this each time I wanted to connect the camera and iPhone. Whenever I tried to connect the iPhone and camera I would get the message that my phone was unable to join the camera network regardless if I was using Bluetooth or WiFi. When the app did work, there was not a whole lot there worth the yearly subscription or purchase. Better off using Canon’s Camera Connect.Show lessDeveloper Response
Hi, I'm really sorry about the trouble. It doesn't sound right, you shouldn't need to remove the pairing before each connection. If you wish to investigate further, please email me at help@shutter.dev (or click "Help" -> "Email support" in the app) and I will be happy to help.Fantastic little app
Very handy for impromptu self portraitsWARNING: Hot Garbage
This is NOT the official Canon app. This app is hot garbage, does not work.Developer Response
I’m sorry the app doesn’t work for you. If there is anything I could do to help (either to fix the issue or make a refund), please contact me at help@shutter.dev (or use “Help” button in the app). -GrzegorzPlease make the shutter button larger
The shutter button needs to be larger. I used this app to take a self portrait with my camera and found that I was often missing the shutter button while looking at the camera.Developer Response
Hi, that's good feedback, thank you! I'm not sure if we have enough space to make the shutter button larger (it should be roughly the same size as in the iPhone's camera app), but maybe we could add a volume button trigger. Let us know at help@shutter.dev if this would help! :)Accidentally downloaded this app
Hello how do I cancel this app? I accidentally downloaded it a few min ago and do not need it yet. I am not interested in the free trial at this time as I only meant to read about before I purchase my canon camera. Thank youDeveloper Response
Hi, you can easily cancel your trial in the “Support” tab -> “Manage Subscription”. If you were charged already, please email us at help@shutter.dev (or use the “Email Support” button) and we will be happy to help with a refund.Apple Watch Shutter Controls for Canon Camera
Connected my R6 Mark II to the app in about 5-10 minutes, and from there it’s set it and forget it. I love that I can control my R6 from my wrist with the camera across the room on a tripod (I do it for video but it works for photos and bracketed exposures in the same way) AND see a live preview right on my wrist.
The setup process took a few minutes, but although it takes a little trial and error, it is not tough.Show less
