Unreliable mess
I cannot count the number of times the transaction just declines even though there is plenty of balance left for the transaction.
Not to mention multiple double charges and pending charges that’s been held for more than 14 days.

Don’t sign up with them they will hold you money for 60days for nothing all because you call for refund back to the bano account,they are jokers,I was surprised until I told them I will sue them before I get my money back,they will hold your funds don’t download this app
Easy to use, cheap, fast and reliable
So far, I’m very impressed. Everything works, and works quickly. When I requested a debit card, I was sent one in the mail within days. Keep up the good work and don’t become complacent like every other financial service provider out there!

Cash back notification received the following day. I was also happy with my first use with Bano as they resolved my issue the first time I purchased.

Money is frozen and they won’t answer any calls, messages or email for months!
Non-existent customer service
Beware using this app. I have $100 deducted from my balance for a pending transaction for over two months now that is meant to refunded. I’ve tried to contact these folks via three different channels now but they never respond. I’ve lodged a formal complaint with the government regulator now to try to recover my funds.

Is Bano closed?
4 months after application, the account is still “under review”. Customer service email is non-reachable, phone is auto voice mail and there is no way one can contact Bano. Wondering if they are still alive … avoid at all cost
They steal my money
Open the account with them then add the money into the account then transfer to my bank account. Everything testing seem like smoothly . After fews transaction then they freeze my account. Can’t do anything even with fews hundred in my account. Contact them on the app and website no one responds. Email no response. Should I report with AFCA. Give back my money for me . Scammers

Pending Application
Have not received one Update it’s been 3 months since when I applied

Onboarding process was a nightmare as they requested to send picture holding driver’s license, etc to open the account. Should have seen the red flags then. They claim up 2 business days to receive deposit of funds. It has been over that time period and the funds are nowhere to be seen in Bano. I needed these funds for use on holiday. It was paid with PayID so should be instant. Applying for Mastercard Virtual card also stuck with ‘application being reviewed’. Just poor and slow service.
