By providing orthopedic clinical case examples, physical therapists practice critical thinking about what objective information to collect as well as what interventions to provide when building a plan of care. All therapists develop their own diagnostic clusters and approach to treatment plan of care. Research continues to show us that we are unable to accurately identify the causation to a patient's symptom behavior. However, we may be able to provide treatments to structures hypothesized for symptom relief. This app has been designed for mobile devices and products with interactive features. The goal is to simulate real patient scenarios to transition from school to clinic as well as create a network that brings the physical therapy community closer together. PT Case Study is available for $10.00 USD. About the author: Nicholas Ing PT, DPT is a physical therapist in Portland, OR, with extensive practice in orthopaedic physical therapy. He enjoys working with clinical students and helps students prepare for their NPTE exam.
