My company switched to Inspira a few months ago and I am so sorry they did. I just got a notice that they needed documentation from a dental procedure 10 weeks ago. I shred that EOB last month. I found the EOB on the insurance website but there is no option to download so I took pictures from my phone to upload to the app in order to submit timely documentation. They don’t accept pictures unless they are PDF or JIF. Phone pictures aren’t so I will have to convert them or wait for a physical EOB to be mailed. I used my last providers app for 8 years, uploading pics from My phone. Why won’t their app support this? My suspicion is that they make it hard on purpose. Even if that’s not the case, why not make it more user friendly? I dislike this provider already. This jumping through hoops is why most people don’t participate in FSAs and will make me reconsider enrolling next year. I understand need for documentation for IRS purposes but resent when it’s complicated to do.
