In about 20 minutes on the phone with customer service, I learned ‘no App’ any longer, only URL. ADT Control, yes, “MyADT”, no. Type in ‘myadt.com’ using your UN and PW.

Very poor App

Very poor app, ended up having to phone it to get my query answered, waste of time downloading and registering

Do not use! Frustrating and confusing.

The app is a waste of time. You think you have booked an inspection but the app does not confirm the booking and lists the status as “pending” even if the booking is firm. Equally, when you try to book, rather than tell you what is available, you have to figure out that if you can press the dot on the time slot then it’s available and if you cannot then it is not. Some simple tips: please just show what slots are available for me to book; once a slot is booked, list the status as “booked” and not “pending”; please send a confirmation email confirming the booking and present a link in the email for me to cancel or change the booking.

Utterly useless!

‘Book an appointment via our app’ says the letter.

So I try.

I had to click on every working day in November individually to get a pop up that told me there were no available appointments that day. Can’t book December, they are greyed out. So why aren’t the November dates greyed out if they aren’t available?

Why can’t you just show all available days then all available appointments on that day?

Basically doesn’t work and now I’ll have to ring up.

A useless app by a company that offers poor customer service

I book an inspection appointment via the app and the appointment is shown as booked but why does the message on the same page still appear telling me that I need to book an appointment?
In the days of two hour slots by delivery companies then ever more precise windows within that window on the door why can’t ADT offer a more precise slot than 0800-1700?
The answer probably lies in too few engineers covering emergency call out and routine inspections over too large a geographic area.
If you live in South West England, if it’s not too late, don’t touch ADT with a barge pole. Unreliable and under resourced, complacent with a clunky app and expensive. The price has doubled in twelve years which is way above inflationary effects.
I expect the board feels very smug with its flashy website. That has to be the only shiny part of the ADT experience.

Crappy app

I see I not the only one who can sign into ADT website fine but not once have been able to sign into this sorry app.

Worthless app

I’m not the only customer who can’t log on to this app but can log on to the ADT website. Is there a reason why?

Useless!

As previously noted it is impossible to sign in in the app but easy on myadt.com. Don’t waste your time as I did! 😩

Appointment Booking Impossible

I get a letter asking me to book an inspection appointment and there is no contact number on the letter, you are directed to the app which is absolutely fine if it actually worked. I had the same issue last time I tried to do this.

Apart from not being able to select and book an appointment, when you do eventually find a ‘slot’ the design is appalling- you have to go through every date to find possible slots. A developer clearly wanted to use the calendar applet but why not just present a list of available dates and slots? Calendar is greyed out after about six weeks anyway, so it would not be a long list.

This forced me to have to call ADT which I didn’t want to do and spoke to a disinterested agent who didn’t want to speak to me either! Fortunately I had the number saved on my phone.

Please just make your design work and more importantly usable!

App is useless

Unable to even sign up for an account, doesn’t recognize my contract number, phoned three times for ADT to help with the simplest of requests, but still nothing as I don’t think they know what they are doing
