Great but it will be good in Spanish too
I used this App once when I needed help with my anxiety and it was definitely a help and a bless. I am using it daily. What I don’t understand is why if the Catholic Church is Universal, they come up with such great ideas in one language? The Augustine Institute have all these great tools for American Christians but fails to recognize that in America there is mire than one language. The apostles spoke different languages when they were inspired by the Holy Spirit please let the Holy Spirit do the same to you and look for resources that you can use to het this App in Spanish or even other languages. This App is beautifully made. It is a good tool to use. It is important for all Catholics to have. Please make it available for many more. This is an opinion made with all respect admiration. I’ve been doing these readings for over a year now & my life is different. Jesus is nearby all the time & I try to be a better person in my whole attitude to life & to all people in particular. This app has excellent content. I love that everything is free.
Also the customer service is great. I contacted them about a problem and it was resolved super quickly.
My only request is that there be more of a visual element. I am a mom of 2, 2 and under, and sometimes I’m praying a rosary but I’m tending to a kid while the mystery is being announced and I miss it, or I’m listening to the daily readings and get interrupted and suddenly it’s asking me what God is saying to me through the reading and I can’t even remember what I just heard. If the screen had art for the current mystery and titles of the readings, it would help me be able to jump back in.Show lessMariah_K
Just what I was looking for…
I’ve looked into other Catholic apps before and decided to give Amen a shot! I’m beyond happy I did! With the Lenten season starting, I was searching for ways to be more prayerful and for my prayers to be more meaningful. I’ve always read the daily readings and used that as part of my prayers, but with this app, I am not only able to listen to the readings (with wonderful background music), but am able to reflect on the readings and then journal! I’ve also enjoyed the sleep stories on occasions when I’ve struggled falling asleep! I can’t thank you enough for helping me become more prayerful! 🙏🏼♥️Show lessAlpinegurl

I love this app and all it offers. But, as someone with a hearing loss I find it impossible to hear and understand some of the content because the background music is louder than the voice! That makes it awful for a hard of hearing person. Like in the Lenten series, that I was really looking forward to, I cannot hear and understand a few that I tried because of music/speaker volume. I’m really disappointed. Would be great if I could choose to mute the music. For meditations, its great, not for wanting to listen and learn though. Please consider making a change for us hard of hearing people.Show lessradiant1028

This app is so excellent. The daily readings are very well done the way they built the app with reflection questionsAnd being able to extend your reflection time while the meditative background music continues I love. I love the choices of background music and imagery. I love how they have incorporated so much of the rich imagery of the Catholic Church into this app rather than cold modern icons. It will continue to be my go to for the daily readings every day from now on. I am also starting to enjoy some of the prayers they haveProvided. And I’ve tried a few of the meditations I find I love the adjustable time selection and the questions are well chosen and well developed. I have come to expect a lot from Augustine and this does not disappoint!!! I feel it is a spirit filled use of technology and will be a blessing to so very many in these times. I have to say that I am throughly impressed with the content of this app. From the readings, to the format of the meditation and vast music selections are truly wonderful for contemplation. The options available are perfect for all aspects of prayer and to help set the tone for introspective reflection. It is true that only the higher can come done to the lower but this elevates the soul to a higher level where it makes the divide between the material and the divine smaller. This app deserves more than 5 stars and I would like to see just how much further the creators of the content can take this invaluable resource.
