Lost Interest in this Game
I play about six different merge games. For reference, I am at level 22. Originally, this one was at the top of the list but I’ve slowly lost interest over time. I have purchased the pass, and I like that it gives you the extra 30 energy to max out at which is unique versus other merge games out there. My biggest complaints are that the producers take up too much space on the game board. You end up with at least four producers for each one which is way too many. But you need that in order to get some of these high-level items. Currently I have so many high-level items that I need to make that I feel like I will never be able to get there. It loses its motivation then. It takes forever to get any money to buy extra slots. I end up having to sell off items because the board is so full of producers which then doesn’t help me when I need to make higher level items. Positives are that I do like the bingo side game when that comes up and relative ease at getting extra energy from your friends when requesting it. I wish other games had this. I will likely be taking a break from it soon as I’ve found other merge games more engaging at this point.Show lessMkhart2

I really liked this game, and it was fun, until three times in a row I accidentally pressed the button to spend gems on an item inside a bubble instead of deleting it for coins. I messaged support to ask if they could restore my coins to my account, as that's what I usually do in Merge Mansion. They told me that the only option was to "rollback" my account, but never told me what that meant, so I assumed that they were just going to give me back my gems. It took a long time for them to even do anything, and by then I had 200+ gems and didn't mind that I'd lost some anymore. Then yesterday I opened up the game to find that my progress had been completely lost. I messaged support and they said that they told me my progress would be deleted to get the gems back, which they very much did not say. And now I have even less gems than I did before, and all of my progress from the past few weeks is gone. I'm very upset by this and don't recommend ever talking to the support.Show lessSsrrel

I’m gonna put the update first. I was very upset that I’d been playing for so long, accomplished a lot, then lost everything. BUT the team was swift to give me back my club and my leader position. They fixed everything for me and then when I switched phones last week they did it for me again! I truly appreciate the team for working with me.
Yooo, what? I’ve been playing almost every day for several years. I’m the leader of our group and we were almost done with Bingo and now I’m just not in the group?? Did the group get deleted? I’m not playing again until I’m put back into my same group with the same rewards.Show lesskc81113

I’ve played this game for 3 years now, pretty much every day. It started out basically being a Merge Mansion clone but has evolved into it’s own game. My favorite part of this game is the flower game and collecting the special flowers. There is 1 particular thing that bugs me to no end tho and that’s that you can’t pop the bubbles you don’t want and just turn them over for coins. I’ve seen others that mentioned this and I don’t know why the devs haven’t addressed this issue but it’s seriously annoying. Especially when you have other event pop ups on the board (currently it’s the snowflakes) and those are constantly taking up space as well. Dear Devs, we’ve already forgiven you for the big mess up that made us lose all of our friends on our lists forcing us to restart that whole system, so could you PLEASE just make it so we can pop the darn bubbles already??? I think 3 years of people complaining about it yet still sticking with you as the game has grown is enough time for us to wait… Until then 4/5 stars.

This game used to be so much fun. Played daily for years but now it has become unreasonable. Events are one of the biggest things your player base look forward to and now you make it completely unobtainable for people to collect Halloween stuff. This latest update is just the icing on the cake to lose your players. Offering zero items to earn for Halloween unless you reach level 12 and have bought your game pass. The amount of pumpkins you can get for taking up space on such a small board is useless. With the amount you need just to gain a level is like throwing a handful of salt into the ocean.
Am I angry? You bet I am and so are many others. Your devs have turned a great game into garbage. It is sad because I also enjoy the story and unlocking locations but I guess its best to part ways before I have to witness what was once a great game go further downhill.

I honestly understand the developer getting pretty frustrated about the situation, but I am FURIOUS about the word choices in facebook announcement that accuses the player, and ANGRY about making changes without notification 🙂 I am also very disappointed about your customer service that leave players for wks because no-one showed up in 72 hrs, and you automatically closed the conversation. I literally have to take a week to find someone to help me with something, WOW. DISAPPOINTED, DISPLEASED, and all these new updates are an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. I no longer believe that spending money in this game can bring me happiness. You can keep updating, and I will keep playing the game in a free way until I spend all gems I have purchased in the game.
Update: very, very disappointed about the new event.
You need to pay 4.99 each week for 12 weeks in order to get 2021 Halloween decoration. The 4.99 includes barely minimal items, that’s not worth it at all.
You also need to spend a ton of energy in order to get the required points to unlock the next level, and I am not joking about A TON.Show lessthat idiot

I really enjoyed this game and spent way too much money on extra gems and special packages.
At some point, I tried buying something and my payment was taken but I never received my purchase. I contacted support, but they claimed there was nothing in their records so I needed to contact Apple support. I did that and ultimately, the only option was to request a refund once the problem was reported. I was denied a refund, disputed the denial, and was denied again. I went back to the game support and received no reply to my additional request.
All, I wanted to do was keep playing the game. I lost about $30 in purchases that I was not compensated for. About a week ago, I opened the game and an error popped up saying I needed to update the game to continue playing but there is no update available, so I can’t even play it now. I’ve tried repeatedly to contact support. I’ve tried removing the game and reinstalling it. Nothing worked. I’m very disappointed but I guess they don’t want a user who will spend real money to play their game instead of just playing it for free, because I can’t play it at all.Show lessheidimages

Generally I enjoy the game, but the other games I play have some obvious method for contacting support in case of issues. I accidentally deleted a workbench generator, and although I did hit the cancel button, it did not register and give my bench back. I tried “support” through the app, but the issue is not in their searchable database and there is no way I can tell to send a message through the app to the developer. I tried the “app developer” link through the App Store, but that just takes me to the developer’s homepage, which is almost entirely in Chinese, with no obvious way to see information in English. I will most likely keep playing the game, but the lack of access to support in case of accidents is troubling.Show lessDizzly3

I played this game from the very beginning. I loved it when it first came out. They gave players the option to buy energy with coins (one energy chest a day). They also have players the option to pay for energy daily with gems (which I did consistently as well). I was a regular spender every week multiple times.
However, now with the update, you can’t get more than 1k of energy at a time. So instead of conserving the energy and saving it for events, you can no longer do that. Therefore, you’re forced to BUY energy or not finish the event. To me it’s unethical gaming practice. It’s one thing to buy energy willingly, but it’s another to be forced into it or don’t get any event stuff.
I will no longer be playing this game, because it really is selfish and unethical to make these types of updates. Why play an unfair game when there are many other, much more fair games out there???
I’ll take my hundreds of dollars a month somewhere else! I’m sure they’ll see a reflection of the spending in game from people like me that have left! Once you lose your customers, they most likely won’t come back again. Why would anyone come back when they lost trust in you?Show lessJustalittlepurple
