So so

This is my updated review after playing since launch. P2W. 100%. Even if you pull a legendary you want pull more the level them up past 50.

Just OK

Started out not really liking the game. It starts pretty slow. All it took was for me to get a couple good characters unlocked and I was hooked for a little while. At this point, it’s been exactly one week from release, and I’ve hit a roadblock as to how much more I can power up my champs without either paying or just playing the same content over and over until I get some more character summon opportunities. This is a game for whales ready to drop money any chance they can. The game is just too slow with summon currency build up and character power growth. Otherwise, it’s pretty fun, at least for a week.

PTW

After you hit around 60k attack power you gotta pay to win, if not, you’re just stuck and the game pretty much ends. It was fun while it lasted though.

Typical game no real instructions

I would have thought that Zynga would have a players manual to actually describe game play, characters and all other elements of the game. For instance, I have Tyrion Lannister, what does he do when activated? I see him put some coins in a champions coffers but what does that do?

How about taking the time to put of an informative game guide, one that will allow players to actually know what happens instead of always trying to figure it out.

You have no issues with your ads for us buying stuff for the game! How about doing what’s good for the player, never know, you may retain players!

GoT world and characters, but extremely greedy

I love the GoT world and all its characters l, so that in itself is a plus.

I feel like this game would of benefited more from being a turn based combat rpg rather than this puzzle element to it.

After playing about 10-15 hours, I can confirm that leveling up characters, or acquiring new characters is essentially impossible after a certain point without putting money in.

They give you a couple of household characters to start, but to acquire anymore of the GoT cast of characters you will most certainly be opening up your wallet. The only characters you’ll get for free are the no named house soldiers grunts archers etc.

The equipment and skills on characters are essentially impossible to rank up, even with paying you’d have to put in a couple hundred dollars to rank up your characters and unlock enough character shards to be able to level them up properly.

The paid battle pass track does not give nowhere near enough value.

I’ve put in about $50 in the game and I don’t feel like I got moneys worth what so ever.

I’m on chapter 12 of the story and I am at a stand still because the enemies are stronger than my characters already.

I understand a ftp game will have its micro transactions, but the way this game is structured being its pay walls, you are essentially set up for failure.

Needs more features asap!

The game is good, but it is lacking way too many features. First and foremost you don’t have alliance world wars, where our alliance members fight another alliance as a 1v1 individual battles to sum up to a grand 1v1 alliance battle type of alliance war. These should happen every 24 hours or so, as clash of clans and other games do. Also, wish there was live battling and live replay of such battles. Add this, and the game is 5 stars and the #1 ranked game in the App Store

Hi, Thank you for your honest review and for expressing your interest in an alliance world war where the members of your house fight another house just like what they did in other games. We will take note of this as we continue to improve the game. Have a good one.

Less is more…developers take note

When will developers of games understand the concept of less is more. The game concept is great, hence 3 stars, however you are soon swamped with too many things happening, particularly between “ fights”. I completely lost track of things as I was introduced to new heroes, new rewards and new things to take on board in the main game part I.e. match 3 or more to kill the enemy. I would have much preferred a slower introduction to the concepts rather than be bombarded from the beginning with so many different ideas. Sorry developers but the game that looked so promising was spoiled by your lack of understanding that in fact….less is more. Game now deleted.

Pay to win/ pay wall

Good game but can’t progress at a certain point I’ve played for two days and can’t continue to campaign. I would have to pay real money to summon and “star up” heroes to make them strong enough to continue. Even worse apple play store just let me know the game became active to play. Yet there are people saying it’s been available for 3 to 6 months already. So a bunch of people got a head start and the rest of us are playing catch up. That’s absolutely ridiculous! They should have put the rest of us on a separate server to enjoy a new game not join other peoples old server to be left behind! I don’t recommend this game it’s not free player friendly at all. I just found out that the automatic gameplay is absolutely terrible. The AI attacks the wrong targets constantly and uses the special abilities in the worst way possible every time causing you to lose your energy without completing the stage. Another problem I’ve encountered is that some players are able to level up their one star heroes to level 80 while all of the Newest players and anybody who joined the game after a certain update can only level them up to 50. the players who can level up their heroes to level 80 have an advantage in the games arena where all of their characters can be 30 level stronger than yours until you start up your characters which requires real money or progress in the game

Come on Zynga

I expect better from you. This game is not ready to be released. There really is nothing to do but grind levels you have already cleared and do 6 raids ( PvP ) The alliance feature has nothing but chat. Zynga should know by now to let players advance early on to get them hooked on the product. However this game immediately starts with a pay wall. Max your characters early at 1* (level 50) and you are pretty much finished. Summons are so scarce the odds of ever Enhancing to the 2nd * are almost nonexistent. I love GOT, but this game is complete garbage. 1/2 of a star.

Kinda meh

Doesn't really innovate just a match 3 game with GOT paint. Playing for a few days now and it seems really grindy and hard to unlock characters without paying lots of money. Also, there's really no RPG elements and if you've watched Game of Thrones it's just going through the episodes pretty linearly. Overall I'm probably going to stop playing soon.
