Won’t connect to 5th Gen NT1

Won’t recognise or connect to new NT1 5th gen microphone.

Nope doesn’t work…

Yes I’ve updated receiver and transmitters via a Laptop (which I think is ridiculous) don’t think many people have that kinda tech these days with smart phones and tablets. So I updated my Wireless Go2 via laptop to the latest firmware then plugged in iPhone 13 Pro Max and App says I need to update devices to latest firmware 🤦🏻 so nope does work, right pain in the a**e as ideally I need to change setting on the go and no way I’m taking a laptop out with me to do this when I have a smart phone which should do all this. Swing and massive MISS by Rode 😣

So many issues….

My iPhone won’t recognise the WG2s are connected and my tablet displays an error message saying they need to be updated to use the app, despite the firmware being up to date. I need my laptop with me to change or even check the settings on my WG2s. Not good enough. Currently looking at the DJI Mic system as an alternative.

I don’t understand why you guys make things so complicated

Useless app

On opening the app it says you need to update the firmware on the wireless go 2 with Rode central software on a PC. Plug in the wireless go 2 to PC and their PC software says firmware is up to date. Let's not wasting each other's time. How about pulling this garbage app off the store?

Update: I was a fool to give this app another chance a year later by reinstalling it. Wow, still not functioning. The same old problem. You are absolutely a shameless company. Give my money back! Especially your rode USB-C to lightning cable! It is useless because of your broken app!!!

Not very useful

Version 1.0.29 of the app will only connect to the Wireless Go II Receiver (not the transmitters). You can change a few settings, but you can’t review recordings, transfer them to your phone, or erase them to clear space on a transmitter, all things that would actually be useful in the field, when you’re “mobile.”

the worst product and app ever in this planet

It does not connect to neither mac nor iphone. I have used iphone, samsung, and different clkinds of connectors. it did not even work on windows and samsung. And the company does not answer anybody. you need to be searching on the net and everybody says u must buy another cable. ok I did it, sc7 does not work too

No connect

Transmitters won’t connect. All firmware and software are up to date Only receiver connects. Period

Doesn’t work

Hi Rode. Can’t connect to the Wireless Go 2 recover or mic to my phone. Updated both and tried both and app just says connect device using apples lighting cable that came with the phone.

Maybe okay in emergency

I'd have to be hard pressed to use this app and it's horrible connectivity. Standard usb-c to lightning cables won't work, so either pay out the nose for the proprietary cable or get used to dealing with dongles to patch something together. All devices need to have latest firmware installed via desktop to connect to app after you've jumped through the cabling hoops, so you might as well make your changes there while you're connected. Anything important can be changed with button presses on the devices. Sad app and sad iOS interface in general. The opposite of what I think of when I think Rode.
