Easy to install. Solar panels are able to keep the batteries charged. Good video quality. Really like the tracking feature. Like the different options on setting the alarm functions and sensitivity. I use them in addition to my ring cameras so I can’t help but compare them to each other. What I’d like to see improvements on is the recording duration of captured incidents, faster recording of incidents and a feature that allows the camera to take snap shots at 15 second intervals so I can go back to a certain time just to see what was going on in the neighborhood. The Ring cameras have this function. Other than that, I’m pretty much satisfied so far. It’s only been a couple of weeks using them, so hopefully they’ll last last, if not I will have to update this review.
The AOSU camera and doorbell are of excellent quality and do not require monthly payments or contract agreements. You can set the zones on each camera, which is a good feature, especially if you have an area needing more attention, such as a garage or backyard. These cameras are of good quality and have night and day vision. The cameras and the doorbell have two-way communication through them, so you can speak to someone or give directions if needed. Overall, I highly recommend these cameras for the price you pay and the quality, especially having the solar panels to charge the cameras. The doorbell has a six-month battery before it needs to be recharged. My only drawback is the iCloud pricing, and instead of individual accounts for each device, it would be great if they could combine all devices into one iCloud account. Also, since setting up all the AOSU devices, I am still learning to adjust many application and detection zones!

The ability to use the shortcuts app (that comes pre-installed with iOS) with this app is a must add feature.
This would greatly enhance the “smart” security feature of Aosu and make the user experience much more efficient. When the phone leaves the homes’ vicinity, the shortcuts will automatically navigate to the “smart security” tab and enable “away mode.”
Conversely, when the phone enters the homes vicinity, the shortcut would automatically navigate to the “home” mode.
Again, implementation of this feature is very simple as it does not require anything but a simple integration with the Apple “shortcuts” app.
Other suggestions:
•Ability to manually change the exposure of the camera (especially useful at night time when the lighting is limited and under/over exposure is possible due to lightning circumstances
•If possible, add a box around humans when the motion is being tracked on the PTZ cameras. The non-ptz cameras will also benefit from this feature and will allow for easier investigation of movements
•A feature to add custom voice alerts through audio recordings. (Not just three pre-made audio recordings)

In the last year, I've purchased multiple solar panel panorama cameras, solar and non-solar (battery operated exclusively) security cameras, and a doorbell for my mother-in-law and myself. All of the devices are fantastic. The solar panels ensure that those devices are always fully charged and require no maintenance. After several months, the battery-powered cameras remain at 100% (despite frequent motion activation). The video quality on all of the devices is great, especially at night. You can't beat the 4K 5MP quality. The software easily displays all seven gadgets between the two residences. The features are all quite useful. I access them all the time, from reviewing motion activity, checking on battery levels, illumination at night, turning them off when not needed (i.e., anticipating family members or myself activating the motion constantly), and using the two-way audio, especially the doorbell, which called my cell phone and saved me several trips to retrieve packages that would have been returned to the warehouse because I was able to instantly speak to the deliverer to give instructions.
I have been using the Aosu smart doorbell for three years. Every day, I check the delivery status of my packages. It's very convenient to see who is ringing the doorbell remotely from my bedroom. Especially when I'm away, I can detect if strangers are approaching the house, and I can see what's happening in front of my door in real-time, which gives me a great sense of security.
Why? I’ve had over 10 different security cameras and over 8 different apps. The Aosu app is the only app that allows for simultaneous monitoring of multiple cameras on one screen. Also they have cameras that have AI tracking. The camera follows the detection of humans on their 360 PTZ models. Very unique and the only ones I know that have that capability.
In general, the app performs well without any noticeable bugs. Yet, I've noticed that the camera view on my iPhone doesn't extend all the way to the edges, leaving black margins on both sides. It would greatly improve the user experience if the camera view could utilize the entire screen, displaying the view edge to edge. I've seen other products that provide a bigger and wider image display. I hope this issue can be addressed in the next software release. Thank you.
I must say I disagree with a lot of the reviews. The cameras I got for my mom who is elderly work great and are always charged w the sun and the picture looks great. they always go back to the starting point and they can be activated by wind or shadows, which can be annoying but it shows they are working! I can save it to my pictures and look at it later if need be and no extra charges. I can zoom in and out. I have a few other cameras and I must say this is the best one that I’ve seen for the money. Granted, we’ve only had them for two months so stay tuned, but as of now, I am very pleased and highly recommend.
Camera works great. Night vision very clear. Notifications are instant. Works with Alexa. I needed better security after an attempted break in on New Year’s Eve and bought these cameras for my house. I no longer have to worry about who is lurking around day or night. The picture quality is great and the zoom is amazing as well. I can see for blocks looking at the live view. Would 100% recommend to anyone who wants a reliable camera for security or any other purpose.
Purchased the kit because it has a home base and you do not have to have a subscription for storage. Easy connection and tie-in to Alexa. Pictures are clear, voice has a small lag but is very understandable. Only small complaint is that there are a lot of triggers even when set in human onky
