  • Fantastic Workouts

I LOVE the workouts and how every muscle group gets hit and not over worked throughout the week. I love how there’s no fluff in these workouts, it’s straight up strength training. The app itself still has room for improvement, user friendly wise. The only things I wish the app did was: when you start a workout, I wish it would take you through each exercise/rounds (maybe the screen wouldn’t time out that way), I wish you could press 30 minute or 60 minute as an option (instead of just halving each set), and I wish it had a calendar to see what I’ve completed for the month. Other than that it’s fantastic and you can’t beat the cost!

  • Love the workouts, possible options for next update?

I love the workout programming and find the actual workouts enjoyable. I wouldn’t change nothing to how she does her workout splits!!

However, it bugs me that the exercise I am on does not come up full screen (automatic video mode) when I’m on that particular exercise. It is not like most other workout apps that help to keep you going by clicking “next” - then the next workout pops up. You manually have to just scroll down the page then click on the next exercise photo — then click on play to see the exercise in motion. It’s constant clicking.

Also to note: The “start” button only is a timer but doesn’t actually progress you through the workout if that makes sense.

Another thought I had would be to add in voice recording with the exercise demos so we can listen to form cues / tips as we’re working out rather than to sit and have to read through what the exercise says for notes.

Again, love love love Sadie, and her programming but would like to see the app be a little more modern and have the option to be led through the workout rather than trying to keep the pace yourself.

  • Some app update features feel like a downgrade

First off I will say I am OBSESSED with this workout program and have gotten 4 friends and counting to join! I have been doing the workouts and tracking my progress for almost a year and I’ve never felt better! Now some feedback on the latest app update… I don’t like that you have to click into each exercise on the warm up/mobility section, it makes it really annoying if I want to do the warm up out of order and you can’t see which exercise is which because it just says “alternative #”. I also don’t like that you have to click into history every time you enter your weight and reps to see what you e done before. I don’t live the scroll feature for weight as well, since I have weights at my gym (particularly the cable machines) that have decimals and now that is not an option. I wish we could edit already submitted sets. I also wish the alternative exercise has the name of the exercise before having to click on it so you could more decipher which you’ve clicked on already. I find the notes section frustrating now as I have to click it 10+ times before it lets me start typing. Overall I love the content of the app but I wish I could click a button and go back to the old version of it because it was so much better!

  • Making time for these workouts is amongst the best self care I have yet to discover!

Everyone says they don’t ever write reviews and I really don’t, in fact I’ve literally never written an app review. But I realized today (while getting ready to go to the gym) that by some miracle I’ve been regularly using this app for more than six months. It’s not a miracle, it’s just easy to use with great programming that keeps me excited. I haven’t been able to stick with a work out plan for this long since before I had kids…you don’t have to be super athletic or already in shape for this app to be effective—I’m rapidly approaching 40, with two kids and a very busy, stressful job and I’ve managed to stick with it for 6 months already and am looking forward to continuing. And the best part, at least for me, is the mental clarity that regular, challenging lifting has given me. Making time for my workouts has actually helped me be more effective at work. Love it, Sadie!

  • Great App

Love this app. Really easy to use, I love that it provides a full workout for each day of the week and you can record your weights and reps.
  • Love this app! Game changer!

I LOVE this APP! It really takes the guesswork out of your strength program. I love working out, but tend to flounder when I don’t have a program to follow! I love the alternative moves she recommends and the videos given for each exercise. I am also 51 and have to really focus on weight training over tons of cardio to see improvements to my body. I have been using her app now for almost 6 weeks and I’ve already seen huge strength improvements as well. I am down almost 10 pounds as well. Thank you Sadie for creating a great program! Also wanted to add that I have not had any glitches or any issues with the app! Top quality app for sure!

  • Great app, a little hard for beginners

I am excited about this app! My only critique: I’m a super beginner. I have to read every exercise description and watch every video. It takes me 3-4 clicks to go to the exercise video, then get back to figuring out how many reps to do. If you could make the video thumbnails GIFs that would be amazing so we can watch those without clicking into it and going back and forth I would love that and it would make it more seamless for me to go from one exercise to another. Also, I don’t like that the videos go into full screen mode when they play in the description, I should be able to watch the video while I read the description.

Anyway, this isn’t a dealbreaker for most ppl but I just think a few UI tweaks would make this app amazing. Thanks for putting this out there.

  • So good it deserves my 1st review

First time I’ve ever left a review on an app. I’ve been a Sadie Active user for a year now and have continued to be obsessed. The moves, the instruction, the tutorials, the routine: it all maximizes the effectiveness! I used to lift with other programs not realizing about form but Sadie, the app, and her Instagram have made such a difference in my workout regimen and a physique. She is the best!!

  • The best out there for me

Love Sadies app and the variety of workouts so simple yet so powerful I have been doing it for past 7days at home and will continue so🙏
  • Breath of Fresh Air

I had been using another app that starts with S since it had been published, after having used gym guides by the same people. I had seen great results but over the last year did not feel like I was making any progress or that my workouts were making an impact for me. I was recommended the SadeActive app back in August by a mutual acquatience and finally made the switch in October/November. Already this app has been such a breath of fresh air! I love the ability to add notes, and that each weeks workout is curated to keep it from becoming repetitive. I feel like my workouts are actually making a difference as I can feel which muscle groups I used when they’re sore the next day. 10/10 would recommend this to others! Even my sister, who only recently signed up for the gym, is using this app to start her own journey.
