Can we stop with the creami recipes
I've been using the Clean Simple Eats + app for three years, and while I've enjoyed many of the macro-friendly recipes, the app has been disappointing lately. Despite having a selection of our favorite tried-and-true recipes, the lack of new content has been frustrating.
Over the past six months, the only significant updates have been Ninja Creami recipes. While those are nice, I miss the diversity of macro-friendly meal options that made the app stand out.
I hope the CSE team will refocus on creating more macro-friendly meals that cater to a wider audience. Until then, it's hard to justify even the minimal subscription fee for an app that feels neglected.Show lesshealthylilBrit

I love this app, it helps me stay on track with my macros and recognize where I need to increase or decrease food categories.
The app is pretty accurate and the scan feature is AMAZING. But with a recent update (March 2024) the serving size feature has changed and makes it a little more difficult to accurately track. For instance the serving size for shredded cheese when scanned is 1/4 cup; however, I use about 1/8 cup or 2 tables spoons and I am not able to decrease to that or change cup to tablespoons. Previous to this update you were able to change the serving size to any measurement on most food items.
So just beware, you may not be able to track as accurately as you would like.Show lessKD3LN

We are so glad you are loving the app! Thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback. This feature is still available but was redesigned. Before, all non-CSE foods had the feature to change the measurement type, but it didn't work on some foods. With the new update, we have made it so that only non-CSE foods that are compatible to change the measurement type have this feature to avoid any frustration for our app users. If the food item has other measurement options available, you will see a pencil next to the plus sign when you have added the item to tracking or planning. When you click on the pencil, different measurement types will pop up for you to choose from. I was not happy that they took away the free shipping which was a big reason that I paid for the plus. However, the company did make good on their promise to give me a $100 credit to use. I appreciate that they followed up on it and I was able to use the credit on a purchase.
I wish I could export the recipes somehow, instead of taking 2-3 screenshots. I use a different app for macro tracking.
I think if you’re going to use only these recipes that this app would be useful and helpful for tracking macros and the shopping list feature.Show lessSquapie
