Description of Eat This Much

Put your diet on autopilot with Eat This Much. Tell us your diet goals, the foods you like, your budget, and what your schedule looks like, and we'll automatically generate a complete meal plan to meet your targets. It's like having a personal diet assistant. We offer both free accounts and premium accounts. As a free user, you can create a day's meal plan and completely customize it however you want. Each meal can have different preferences, and your nutrition targets can be whatever you like. As a premium user, we'll automatically generate a week of meal plans and send them to you with a grocery list via email. As you follow the plans, you can track what you did or didn't eat, and if you deviate from the plans, we make it easy to readjust your targets for the next week to stay on track. Try out the free account to see if our meal plans appeal to you, and upgrade when you're ready. - Follow any eating style or create your own (works for keto, paleo, vegetarian, vegan, and more) - Hit your macros and calorie targets every day - Empower yourself with automatic control over your diet - Take the anxiety out of picking what to eat - Personalize any of our recipes and they'll replace the original - Reduce food waste - Don't like our suggestions? Easily swap them out or configure the generator to only use foods you like - Manage your virtual pantry (with a premium account) Normal calorie trackers force you to add foods into your diary one by one. And by the end of the day, there's no guarantee that you'll be anywhere near the nutrition targets you're trying to reach. With our automatic planner, there's nothing to track because everything is already entered for you, and all you have to do is follow the plan. • Simple and Easy Recipes. Strange portion sizes

I really like this app so far. Most people probably came to it out of weight loss desires but my husband and I are both underweight but interested in eating better and possibly getting into a healthier weight range. I thought the calories and macros were interesting. I stayed for the truly easy recipes! Oftentimes recipe apps are filled with weird things that are too hard and I wouldnt like. This app seriously has easy, basic, but yummy suggestions! Many are 5 ingredients or less. Also lots of smoothies too if you’re into that.

My only complaint is the portion sizes are often odd and so you have to be careful not to waste food. One recipe asked for 3/16th of a tortilla?? It’s hard when a food comes in one size (a lb of beef, for example) and the app has you use 1/4 lb and not any more for the rest of the week. Just something to keep an eye on. Healthy shopping is already expensive without wasting any. I think it’s up to the consumer to adjust and change recipes to use up the rest of the portions.

  • Love it except…

This app has almost everything I want.

The servings vs amounts vs amount to fix sections are unclear. Never sure how my Quanties for purchasing vs keeping track of nutrients amounts are not always in sync. I’m sure it’s the settings so my complaint is this app needs a user guide online that I can make sense of

The grocery list is for all things needed. I figured how to go to print a pdf and add groceries. That generates a list but you would think the groceries tab would get you a correct list for the week. It’s there but you have to go to share a pdf or print. Should be easier.

Biggest complaint is your calories amounts. Often I check online for an item you have listed and your amount is a lot higher. Example a single avocado. I would like a feature to change this Work around is to change amount but then you have to leave a note to purchase the whole item.

I would like to be able to have a separate item list. As I use or add foods in my list would be only foods I use etc. This could be the changeable list when I find an avocado and add the correct calorie content.

Love the meal planning and tracking features.

  • Best App of its kind by far

This is by far the most comprehensive, customizable, and well made app for macro/micro goals, dietary planning and grocery shopping. It takes all the good ideas of any app of its kind and puts them together in a simple way that makes it gool proof and extremely fast to put together. I can be at the store and never given meals for the week a thought before that time and generate a full list of ingredients needed for a week of meals that meet my familys goals literally at the press of a button. This app and its associated web interface is a MUST HAVE for anyone looking to make meal planning and dietary tracking easier and more efficient. I never thought I would be excited about an app, but this one is definitely a life changer.
