Great App not just for pregnant Women!

As the husband to my pregnant wife, I use the app when I’m buying products for the family, I have found it greatly useful and surprisingly informative. I now use the app myself when I am shopping for my mens products as I don’t want harmful ingredients either!

Great stuff, thank you!

Worth the spend for peace of mind

Just bought, useful app so far. Found out my fave foundation contains retinal, quickly & easily

Bugs

The app is good but there are many bugs. When I upload de image, the app don’t take all ingredients than when I take a picture. There is a bus with the Dimethicone ingredient, when the ingredient found is Methicone the app take everything before it to form the word Dimethicone.

Good, but..

I wish the app allowed us to see up to 5-10 of the past searches we’ve made. I was going thru a list of skincare that I needed to look up, and I was losing track of what I had just searched. Also, I do think a scan barcode function would be super helpful to have in a future version of the app!

Honestly a wast of money

I wish this scanned barcodes (which I thought it did until I purchased and opened it) so I could be confident that it was picking up the ingredients list accurately. The only good thing is that is has a list of high risk, medium risk, and low risk ingredients that you can search through but it doesn’t seem to be a very long list so I’m still left guessing on some things. Don’t waste your money!

Response from developer

We make it very clear on the app's description, screenshot, and inside the app that the app does not work on barcodes. It functions on word recognition from ingredient lists. That way you can use it on every product. In our experience with barcodes many smaller brands are not included in the database and we want our user to be able to use it on every product plus when shopping online. Please reach out to info@littlebeanapp.com if there was anything from the app that made you believe it works on barcode as we do our best to make the functionality of the app clear before purchasing. Since every product has an ingredient list (either online or on the bottle) we have yet to find a reason to further explore implementing barcodes inside the app. If you feel like there are ingredients missing from our database as potentially harmful during pregnancy please reach out as we believe our list is all inclusive based on the latest research

Didn’t detect aluminium

The app doesn’t flag aluminium which is high risk for pregnancy.

I really love the fact that it’s accurate. At first I googled all the ingredients with one of my moisturizers and it was okay , so I downloaded this app to make sure the other products I used were okay and I also scanned my moisturizer and it was very accurate. Saved me a lot of time. I’m just curious it’s a one time payment? It doesn’t specify if it’s going to be a continuous charge or it’s just a one time payment of 4.99$

Hi Gabby, Thank you for your nice review. Yes indeed it's just a one time payment you won't be charged again for any subscription.

Pregnancy essential

The best app to get! I check all beauty and skincare on there. Highly recommend

This app is so cool.

I’m currently at 5 weeks and looking through all of my routines to make sure I’m not exposing myself or the baby to anything harmful. This app scans the text on products incredibly well and identifies risky ingredients as low, medium, or high. It’s been a huge blessing because it offers me peace of mind during some pretty nerve-racking times.

The best app for pregnancy and breastfeeding mamas!!

If you want to check all of your ingredients (for free) and see if they are safe this is for you. I have used this for years and find it so helpful. Just scan the ingredients and let the info pop up!
