Policies continual locking out. No update on claims. Unable to update rental car status. Unable to lodge issues with repairer. Unable locate repairers in suburbs where plenty of repairer are and continual increases to policies of 24%.Terrible insurance company

Dreadfully managed app. Trying to get an update of a claim is impossible. It seems pointless to have a chat function that nobody monitors and almost never generates a response. Occasionally my chat has changed to Russian font so who knows what’s going on here? Avoid the app and just call or email them.Show lessBad experience
I have a really bad experience with GIO. I am an Uber Driver. I was involved in an accident on 10th December 2021 and today is 20th December 2021, but still my car is at my home in garage and, they didn’t arrange anyone to pick up my car. I have a comprehensive insurance for uber. They provided hire car but if I use it to drive in uber and anything happens, the access will be $5000 and I can’t afford this amount. They said they are unable to get my car repaired before 25th January, please tell me what will I do for that long time. I am a full time uber driver I don’t have another job. I downloaded this app after watching the TV commercials saying that this app would give her warnings. I can’t see how to enable this and I doubt it can actually do this without having a active GIO policy.Developer Response
Hi there, The weather alerts should come up as long as the app has permission to access your devices location! In your app go to, profile > notifications > weather alerts, to turn them on.
