Disappointed :-(
Like many, I was so excited to see this game again. Downloaded and paid straightaway. I paid for the original version but was happy to pay again as I knew it would keep me entertained. However, majority of levels I’ve done first time. It’s really easy. I remember certain levels taking me days, especially Eye. I think in the end I looked online to help me solve it! This time, did Eye with two towers, first time! So disappointed.

Bad scaling for ipad. Doesn't honor previous purchase
I'm glad that this still exists in some form. It has been one of my favorite tower defense games going back 15 years.
That said, the graphics haven't been upscaled well, despite it being a simple 2D vector graphics, and it is missing the option for scaling up time.
Furthermore, having purchased geodefense previously, restore purchases does not work and all but 3 of the levels are locked behind a paywall - I would consider paying again if actual improvements had been made, but for the most part they haven't. Not honoring my previous purchase is not cool.

Removed my paid version to replace with this
This is one of many App Store games that deletes their original version you have paid for, then submits a ‘new’ version with micro transactions. It’s a disgraceful practice.
Was loving it until
I loved the original version of this so was excited to see it back. I loved the first four levels and was settling in to get into the harder ones until on level 5 I was asked for $8Au to unlock the rest.
Happy to pay a few dollars for a game but $8?

Mediocre Tower Defense
The game is clean, clever in its descriptions, and has a nice unique graphics ambience. However, it’s just way too simple. There are only 5 types of towers, and on most levels either blue or red tower spam will make it absurdly easy. I just played all the way through and just didn’t feel challenged on any level. I don’t consider myself to be particularly good at TD games, I think GeoDefense is just too easy. Even the “hard” maps are almost mindlessly easy. It would be very simple to create a “hard mode” where creeps had 1.5x health, or moved slightly faster, or where your max lives were reduced to 1. Not a bad game, 3 stars for sure, but not the best investment of time or money.

Not quite as good as it used to be
Some of levels are stupidly easy. Like the only way you could fail some of these levels is to fall asleep. (Resistance is Futile being the worst). In the old game you could link the level 7 shock towers which was the coolest thing you could do. But not now. Still it’s fun to play.

It has been years since I played this, but think it’s one of the best tower defence games out there! I downloaded again recently and was excited to play but it wouldn’t allow access to the whole game. I am pretty sure I have already previously paid to unlock all levels as I remember playing them. I tried to restore purchase but it just kept taking me back to main screen. I might have to wait until I have money again to see if I can buy it again as I thoroughly enjoy it! Good job! Would love if even more levels were added as well!

Great, classy, strategic game, fun and cool visuals. This needs either new levels, or some level designer, so that we can play each others levels.

This game used to be free years ago, however fast forward 10 years and now you have to pay for a game which used to be free!
