Supportive Community
Very grateful to this community for all the support, as well as the exercises & movements that help me stay active in all the right ways. Thank you, Jeannie!
I’m so thankful
Im so grateful this hyper-mobility/EDS community app has been developed. It’s a safe place with like-bodied and like-minded people that are so helpful. It offers such diversity. I love the community chats, the classes, programs, lectures….it’s the real, full deal.
Game changer for me
Recently diagnosed with hEDS. Had years of getting injured doing workouts and not improving in Pt. Jeannie DiBonne helps me understand why. Her workouts are actually working for me. I thought it would be slow and boring, but I actually feel better and have a “good hurt” with her explanations and guidance. I wish my pts and fitness trainers would study her. She’s taught me to go low and slow. That the breath is the core stabilizer. That proprioceptive exercises help my body understand how it’s supposed to move. I’m finally getting the instruction book for what works to get my body moving properly now. Would recommend this app to anyone who has no clue what to do after a hyper-mobile diagnosis. Worth every penny. The community is incredibly helpful too!

I had all but given up on exercise
I have a dozen different pain related diagnoses. I had all but given up on exercise since it inevitably caused a pain flare. I have had this app for a month or more and the exercises are easy to do and don’t hurt. She even has things that you can do to help with sleep. There’s a forum to talk with other EDSers. It’s just a phenomenal app. If you’re hypermobile you need this app.

Impactful
Such an easy and informative way to get connected to those who struggle the same :,)
Thank you for creating this app
I’m coming from a v low place exercise wise & was worried about hurting myself and being pushed too far. However I didn’t need to worry. Jeannie has created an atmosphere of starting where you’re at however low that is and how it’s important not to push. This is very unlike any exercise based therapies I’ve ever done. I am in control always & this helps me to feel safe. The app is really easy to use and well done. It has a helpful forum where questions can be asked to such a lovely supportive community. Thank you for creating this app and all the resources on it.

Response from developer
Thank you for the wonderful feedback of The Zebra Club. We are delighted you found us and are part of our supportive community.
Uplifting community & safe exercise space
This is the most uplifting chronic illness community I have ever found. The community has truly become my online family. I love all the resources and connections. And of course all the exercise videos are great! The Zebra Club (TZC) is the #1 thing that has helped me get back on my feet after a long flare. With the exercises and TZC’s motto “go low & slow” I have slowly brought strength and stability to my otherwise very hypermobile and POTSie body!

Thank you for your excellent feedback of The Zebra Club. We are so glad you are enjoying it.
No trial period
I setup an account (email/password) and it takes you directly to the billing screen with no indication there is a trial period. The person responding to other reviews states that there is one but either there isn’t, or if there is, it does not come up and they need to fix the glitch where it doesn’t show up. There are monthly and yearly options and that’s it, and yes i read all the information on the screen. I won’t be trying this app until a subscription is offered because the price is steep when you have no idea what you’re getting.

The best thing for my health in 20 years
I love how clear the videos are, and the ability to work at my level and finally to have found something that actually works for me. The focus is on feeling safe to move, and not about doing something perfectly but about exploring how to be in your body with less pain and use less energy.
What a positive supportive community - there to support and celebrate with each other. And you can join others doing the same video by zoom at various times of the day often meeting people in other continents at the same time.
Monthly members meetings are often talks from the most amazing practitioners / experts in hypermobility and some other field. Or a chance to ask questions of Jeannie. I’ve learned so much on so many levels. Plus I can watch talks from before I joined. I am astounded at the quality of speakers. Very knowledgeable in their subjects and in the effects of hypermobility on their specialist area. It blew my mind when I first realised how much hypermobility affects more than just joints. If you have HSD or hEDS especially then it’s an amazing resource.
But most of all I’ve learned what safe movement feels like, not by focusing on a single muscle group or joint in isolation but in my body as a whole. This for me is an absolute revolution. Where as physio has always caused me huge flare ups, the holistic nature of working in the whole body in a low and slow gradual way has been so helpful. It’s more than movement, it’s feeling your body and discovering you can use it better with less energy and with more kindness.
My only regret… that I didn’t join sooner!
