Pay is ok
Pay is decent from picking the person up to the drop off. but if you are traveling far to pick the person up, then you are driving dead miles. Hopefully pay will increase! Also I've noticed they do not add any adjustments on my pay, i don't believe they know how prop 22 works. These are earnings that we as drivers are entitled to! On your statement you will get a message that says you earned more then the prop 22 amount so no adjustments are made, when in reality the amount there counting as the prop 22 gets added onto the original pay. Several complaints will fix this. I have 10 apps/companies in which i drive for as my income, and i can tell you right now hopskipdrive is not paying out prop 22 earningsShow less818Gee
Signed up got approved never worked
Went through the whole process of getting approved. Went on to find rides and some rides were a minimum of 6-8 miles away but others were 17 and almost none were in my area. It seemed like there is no way to do this full time without putting 100k miles on your car a year and the pay they showed me didn’t warrant that . Loved the idea of this service but the logistics aren’t driver friendly.Show lessLihartke

Fake promotions
I am a new driver there was 500 dollar guaranteed promotion for 10 rides and they changed the promotion date on last moment,….making me unable to complete the promotion,…….tricking me to take all useless ride for 10 days ,…..yes your terms and conditions says you can change anything on promotion but this is trickery and unethicalShow lessscamed user
Better money with regular rideshare
When considering the wait times and compensation it’s better to just drive Uber/Lyft. Also, if someone is 10 mins late like an entitled adult student you can’t just leave them to get to the next one - now EVERYONE is late. Not good to earn money / not recommend
They send you very far rides from you current location but the trick is they count miles starting from the customer location to his distance which it will be very short . Yes it’s 2 dollars/ mile but it’s a trick you can not drive all day to earn money there no chance . All day you can earn 30 dollars if you are luckyShow lessBiba_15

sometimes I don’t feel safe driving for Lyft,.. but with hope Skip I don’t have that issue, I know it’s not a random person coming into my car,.. plus I’m helping young kids in the very communities i grew up in,.. and the pay is so much better!🤩🙌hdhbdkdndbf
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS JOB, THE APP, THE KIDS
When I first found out about this gig, I was mind blown!! I never would have even thought of it myself (especially considering the world we live in). But HopSkipDrive does so background checks and has a beyond great system going that is fair to ever child and CareDriver. The kids are so sweet and respectful, the app uses my favorite way to get around Google Maps, and lets you know important things! Everything you need is all in the app!! I was nervous before my 1st ride, but once you keep doing it and get the hang of it, it helps. They have filters for you to adjust things that benefit you like distance and times. I love who created this app and very convenient way to transport kids and teens. From my experience, it really does help their families and makes you dependable.
