  • So much fun!

I don’t typically stick with merge games or even really *most* game apps bc I get bored quickly. But I enjoy this one partly because of its charm and hometown feel, nice characters, and adorable graphics. I’ve always wanted a farmhouse on a tract of land, but it isn’t feasible with my teaching job and the commitment it would take to keep up with everything when my favorite way to unwind is to lie in bed and play on my iPhone and iPad. lol

Also, this forces me to organize my space, which periodically becomes an issue in real life. I go through phases where I just don’t give a crap and stuff is everywhere. But I hate messes! So when I keep things tidy in the game, it stays on my mind irl. LOL

I will keep this app and prob play it everyday. Few apps make that list from lack of time alone!

  • Great but…

This has by far been one of my favorite merge games, but lately the extra levels (the ones that last 2-3 days) have become so frustrating because I can never finish them no matter how hard I try. I feel like I’d have to spend a ton of actual money on energy to get even close, where previously I used to be able to complete these bonus levels with spending little to no actual money at all.

I get having hard ones more often, but throwing us a bone and making them more achievable would be awesome. Even an extra day on the bonus levels would be great!

  • Fun! fun!

I pretty much never write reviews bu for this game I had too. It is most def a merge game worth playing. The mechanics of the game are pretty much the same. Match and merge to bigger and better. But this game is not just myth and magic. It adds missions based on the reality of the player with a hint of imagination thrown in for fun. You see it in the post office the fire dept, the dairy farm and more. That realism a player can relate to that creates an environment in which the want to keep playing to see what else they can create that is familiar. It encourages without being in your face the desire to complete missions, open more places, gather more, complete daily tasks, etc. And it all flows so well that unless you consciously pay attention to each cog like I did so I could write this review. I played for 3 1/2 hours before I even realized all the nuances happening. And the music relaxes without jarring your senses. I find this game to be fun and enjoyable across the board. Appropriate for 7 and up. It is sure to tantalize one with hours and hours of fun. Kudos to the creators and staff for an excellent job imo

  • Greedy

The game started out fun helped with stress in the hospital but then I noticed something. The energy store started to upload slower with less energy. Then buying energy with coins keeps becoming more and more money. It started as 600 coins for 75 plus 15, then it was upped to 700 coins for 75 plus 15 energy, then 900 coins for 75 plus 15 then now it’s 1000 coins for 75 energy plus 15. Not just that but all other products have gone up. The energy required to do a job has gone up so the only way I can proceed to to spend more & more REAL money. So u lost a costumer. It was a fun game until u guys got greedy only 3 weeks into playing the game. I even paid real money several times which I have no issue with u have to get paid somehow. But u got greedy & made the game no longer enjoyable. It’s sad.

  • A great game at free intro levels but not at advanced levels

I am a Merge County player - currently at LEGEND level - who made A LOT of in-app purchases. I *WAS* addicted to this game - but not anymore. The game owners are about to lose a paying customer. In fact, I actually enjoyed this game more when I played at less advanced (and free) levels. Not a great business model.

Here is one of the biggest problems out of several big problems. The amount of pinwheels it takes to open new locations in the “County” is unbalanced and unfair, especially in comparison to all other aspects of the game. Superficially, it seems logical (and profitable for the game developers); the more a player advances the more difficult advancement gets - a challenge to encourage more playing. However, in reality, I am having to SLOW my building speed down just to wait on pinwheel accumulation. I literally have “bouncing” buildings waiting for the platforms, which is distracting, takes up valuable space and prevents the ability to build more. I have achieved several new characters but no “home(s)” for them. This makes absolutely NO sense.

It is EXTREMELY frustrating, and I am no longer enjoying the game. It has become monotonous to play instead of fun and challenging. This flaw, among others, will now cause a loss of profit for the game owners. Sadly, the same is about to be true of my play in Merge Fables. Other game companies are now profiting.

  • Great game with lots of 0 $ opportunities

This game is great. It has several side games to give you other things to do while waiting for time on developing objects. They give you several items that help success and a more flowing progress. This makes games so much more fun because when we feel like we’re getting somewhere, we want to keep going. When we’re spending time on something and it takes sssooo lllooonnnggg then its not even worth the time or effort. So I really appreciate the developers who help us along with helper items. Yes, you can spend money, but there are many options for gain by watching an ad. I don’t think thats an issue at all. You can choose to watch a 30 second add for the bonus, or not. It gives the developers a little money when we watch them so it makes it possible for them to give us a game thats not dependent on us spending cash. I often click on the ad just to help out in that area.

The only gripe I have right now are that two of the islands share energy. The energy is only enough to play one island successfully so I just don’t play the other. It would be nice to be able to.

All in all this is a very well developed game with us players in mind. Hopefully the model will continue this way so we can continue to play.

  • Awesome game

This game is aboutMerging but once you Start you can’t stop it’s it’s really cool and you can go to different places with different people and you can own more land you can do whatever you want with it you can merge and it’s just awesome I once I got it I started obsessing with it it’s really good you guys should try it it’s not like something satisfying but it’s still good and there’s not that many ads honestly The only thing that might be a little bit of a problem for some of you guys is that you have energy and if you don’t have enough energy you can’t merge or do anything else but other than that this game is awesome thank you

  • Fun and Progressive, but...

Overall this is a well executed game. There are just a few things that I wish would be a little different.

    1. With the buildings, upgrading them is extensive with no progression for higher rated buildings. The post office is the first one you get and you can upgrade that reasonably, but the rest of them just jump to a super high number. I wish they were more gradual especially for the first, second and third buldings you get.

    2. With the under water world, it uses energy from the main game and it similar to the arctic tundra. I'm not spending my energy there when I can use it in the main game.

    3. You should be able to gain energy back a little quicker, or at least be able to accrue more during down time. Maybe have it go up by increments of 10 for each level, so at level 15 you can hold 150 energy, level 20 you're at 200.

  • Game is pretty good but…

I like the game for the most part but there are a few things I don’t like. 1. I get very annoyed by the ads I see for this game while playing other games. The game is nothing like the ads and I hate the deception. 2. There is an event board immediately after the previous event board is done. I like the events but give us a day in between them. It’s too much. 3. Today you dropped 5 new items in the main board. I like new things but 5 at once when I am already struggling for space to put things. Too much. I am having to merge at three instead of 5 sometimes because there is just no room for 5 new items. (I play a lot of merge games and I’m pretty good at managing space). One change I really like is the event board digging being One dig. I like being able to do it all at once instead of several digs for less energy. Saves time and much better I think.

  • Not merging correctly

When you merge 4 pieces you get the merged piece plus it leaves the original piece. However if you accidentally merge 6 pieces you get only 2 pieces and lose that extra piece. Also just recently waited patiently to build 5 tables to complete a restaurant piece. However as I was moving the 5th piece over it merged 3 pieces now I have to wait again. Can’t contact customer service as their form does not work. Love the game hate the glitches. Oh and sometimes you watch a video to get a piece you need and there is an error and they give you 50 coins! Seems like a way to get you to spend money.
