Speak BG Readings
Any chance of a speak BG readings between start time and end time setting devs? I find this setting really helpful when busy working during the day but forgetting to turn it off every night is a pain.
The app is great but I agree with some of the other reviews. I find myself having to manually calibrate with the libre app as its quite often out by sometimes as much as 1 whole unit, even having to calibrates with the libre 2 sensor a few times a day it is still a very good app. Sure some final tweaks will make it amazing.Show lessGP6701
Brilliant App
I’ve had type 1 diabetes for nearly 40 years and started using the freestyle libre system roughly 3years ago. That has been a game changer, but always with issues to do with iPhone readings and Apple/Libre updates. Last Friday’s update and subsequent white screen has lead me to Shuggah. Hallelujah for Shuggah - absolutely love it; can now see reading on my watch, no scanning, it’s possible to calibrate etc etc - it’s a really proper app. Knocks Abbotts out of the park.Show lessJem154
Stunningly good by comparison to Libre app
This app does so much more than the official Abbotts Libre app. I only found this as the Libre app has stopped working on iPhones apparently after an update (blank screen and disappeared from App Store) with no explanation from Abbotts! Thank goodness we’re not all using their system to monitor a life threatening medical condition!
This app is a true CGM with no more scanning. The alarms can be tailored, rather than having indistinguishable tones with no repeats like the Abbotts app.
I have my blood sugar popping up on a banner on phone, on the app button and in my calendar now too (so can check in other devices, not just iPhone).
Dark screen too so don’t wake up my partner when checking at night. Abbotts app glitches constantly, this just works. Wonderful app, and free! Thank you!Show lessLibre app now crap
Useless
Was delighted when I first got this app! Worked perfectly. Now for this past couple of months its started dropping the connection for hours at a time from the Libre 2. Now since the latest update it has stopped working altogether. Finds the Libre sensor but doesn’t connect. I’ve tried so many recommended fixes and solutions ‘til I’m blue in the face. I’ve given up trying to get this fixed from support.Show lessLeon1225

The ability to see BG reading on my phone and watch in real time, updated every minute, is life changing! Wow. Been using this app for about a year now, with Libra2 sensors. Made so much difference. Thanks so much for your work putting this in the App Store. Highly recommended.kev22634
Fantastic app
This is so much better than the LibreLink for immediate blood glucose feedback. The app reads the Libre2 sensor using Bluetooth, no need to scan. I can see my blood glucose in real time on my phone, my smartwatch, even on my car display with CarPlay since Shuggah can write events to my calendar.
I’ve only been using this for a couple of days and so still learning but I’m well impressed.
Librelink is better, I think for trend monitoring and stats and to share data with my diabetes team.Show lesscyberdude39
Excellent with Libre 2
So much better than Libre app alarms.
I use this to keep a constant monitor of my glucose levels, scanning in the Libre app to get readings for logging meals, insulin and exercise and of course for driving.
It continues to monitor for a while (at least 12 hours) after the 14 week expiration so I have overlap which is great and it’s easy to then switch to the new censor
Issues and development feedback:
1-the badge on the app is okay but a widget would be bette. Still I’ve got a great excuse to buy myself an Apple Watch!
2-I accidentally muted the very high alerts for 60 days and can’t work out how to reset so I need to wait this out. If this were the low alarm I’d have to delete and reinstall app. No need for days in the drop-down.Show lessAll my nicknam3s are taken
Best App Eva
This app is unbelievable, I have been a Type 1 diabetic for nearly 40 years and I have always been open to technology making control better. Anyone that has a negative thing to say about this brilliant app has never had the embarrassment of peeing on a stick!
I walk and Exercise and a constant update of my blood sugar is a game changer I haven't had a hypo in about 6 months using this app.
The best thing today I bought a new car, and with Apple Air play I actually can see my blood glucose on the multimedia screen of my car...unbelievable!

Great with Libre 2! Especially with Apple Watch!
I am so happy with this app it gives you live reading straight to your phone/watch without having to even scan and gives you lots of other information as well, only downside to it I’d say is that it’s a few minutes behind the Libre app from what I’ve found but still works perfect and I can constantly monitor how my insulin is working whilst at work! Libre 2 compatibility?
Unclear if app is compatible with Aus/NZ Libre 2 sensor. Confirmation either way would be useful for potential users.rmwelly

Hello from Ukraine! Thank you for you review! Unfortunately, Sugar does not support Libre 2, which were made for the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand markets. This is a limitation of the manufacturer of the goods that we cannot influence.
