  • Share function is poor

I would love it if the share function allowed for text messages. Only Facebook or email is lame.
  • Not landscape mode

Using this app on an iPad and it does not recognize the app being in landscape mode. App stays on portrait mode. Favor the website over the app because of this
  • Doesn’t work when searching

The symbol for search is a magnifying glass, but in the case it’s an image that does nothing, there a separate search bar below the image you have to click. Not user friendly. When you do get to search, it takes a long time to load and even though I tried using some well know and popular brand names it came back with nothing available. When I went back to the website and did the same searches, a lot of things came up. App needs a lot of work before it’s fully functional.
  • A Little Better Than Their Site

I tried to use the site on my phone and it keeps logging me out or stuff doesn’t work. This has potential and the only thing I would like to see is a reminder an item you favorited or bidder on is almost over.
  • Makes shopping experience so much easier

I do a lot of my o alone shopping on my phone so this has made my experience 10x better.

Great spot to shop vintage antiques and toys!
  • Needs work

I love shopgoodwill, but this app needs some serious work. In general, it’s pretty clunky, it feels like someone who has just learned about app development has put it together. There’s loads of stuff that just doesn’t make sense… the search bar has a little search magnifying glass that would typically be a button to initiate a search, but it’s static, instead you need to hit the other ‘search’ button below it. There’s some stupid header that sticks around on most pages, similar to Instagram in like 2014. There’s this awful miniature banner ad that blocks the last few items on any page because they clearly haven’t calculated for the banner ad (which just shouldn’t be there, it’s telling you about the goodwill mission on every search single page, leave that for the homepage or a different about section) in regards to the bottom of the page. The share function should very much include a share to imessage or at least a copy link button, not just Facebook and EMAIL(is this 2009?).

I seriously love SGW, I have purchased MANY things on it, and have always been mostly thrilled. I am glad there’s an app now, but for god sakes, please invest a bit more money in a developer that knows what they’re doing in regards to common sense app design- or, if this is the effects of a corporate entity not allowing the developer to make the appropriate changes because they think they know what is needed, then let the freaking developer make the appropriate changes.
  • Remove other app

It would probably be a good idea to remove the other app from the marketplace so people don’t download it by confusion.
  • Needs work

This app is really no different then using the website besides the wasted space on my phone.
Why is there still no notification when you are out bid on an item that is still in progress?
