  • One major flaw

Great company but very annoying that you can’t combine funding sources. So if you want to purchase $500 of a painting and have $499 in your wallet, you can’t buy it with $499 from wallet and $1 from checking. You have to find the whole thing from checking. Further, there is no easy way to add funds to your wallet from the app, and even so, funds don’t clear for days. So all the criticism is on the app design end. Needs to make to easier for users to buy!
  • Masterworks

    Hi Team,
Your app does not show the complete realtime ownership details unlike the web version.

  • Thank you

This isn’t so much a review as it is an expression of gratitude. In a year in which the market, and the majority of other asset classes, have seen substantial losses, it is nice to see your diligence in managing offerings turn a consistent positive yield.

  • Unable to complete investments

There have been multiple times in which my purchase will not complete. Various codes will come up and not allow me to proceed with my purchase. Good luck trying to get a hold of anyone with the company. I’ve emailed multiple times without even receiving a response.
  • Secondary Market Needs transparency

Company just changed the way the secondary market functions after the Thanksgiving holiday. There is no transparency in the market. You create a sell order and hope someone bids the exact price and shares you have offered. Is it high, is it low, no one knows. I like what the company is trying to do here, just needs a better secondary market mechanism.
  • Investor’s Only

Masterworks was great until they raised the minimum investment to $500 for every painting. This defeats the whole purpose of Masterworks for many of its users.
  • great app so far!

only feature i’ve noticed is missing is being able to transfer funds to and from my bank to my in app balance. any updates on when that might be available?
  • Destined to fail

The idea is great, but the rest of it - underwhelming at best. Not enough people, not enough valuable assets, not enough thought and ingenuity put into this whole thing. Regretting putting my money in.
  • Pretty bad mobile interface

Really needs revamping, and also an iPad-ready version.
  • Rally is better

Long story short everything about this app is done wrong and is not Intuitive. As a product manager I’m like shocked anyone let this out the door.
