I don’t normally do this, but this app is just bad. I have the newest Iphone, ideal staging area for card photos (since I’m a big seller on Ebay), and consistently get 10s from grading agencies.
Decided to try this app out since I heard I’m interested in the AI component, but the pictures are always blurry, the grading is completely inconsistent, and i’ve even taken some cards that were already graded as 7s out of the slab and got graded 9+ on all 3.
Worst of all, it was buggy and would frequently crash.
Long way left to come here, I wouldn’t show up early.Tylerddddddd

This app has been truly amazing and has propelled my business even more. The grading is very accurate and you don’t have to send something to psa for $20. You can get unlimited for $70 a year. This is a great company and always works great for meTheDiamondJack

Good idea, not the best execution.
I got Optic Edge about 2 weeks ago, haven’t used it since now. I knew about the one free scan, but know that option is gone, I’m not able to scan anything. One suggestion I have is one free card scan a week. This would allow people that can’t pay still be able to get card scans.Straggonoff
Don’t buy subscription
They used to give out 1 free card now they got rid of that option. Now you have to subscribe to it and on top of that I got booted off the app and when I tried to sign in my account got deleted which I lost my 3 months I had with them. So I tried to sign in with my account it started fresh as if I never had it.Darkblade74ty

No accounts are deleted without the express permission of the user. There was a service outage that has caused some users account to become disconnected with their records but we have been 100% successful in correcting this for those who got in touch. We have checked the support tickets and have received no information about this issue and because of this we’re unable to assist you before your review. Unfortunately running our service, including hosting and processing millions of cards costs money. For this app to exist we would either have to offer advertisements to be able to accommodate a free service and that is something that we don’t particularly want to do, or charge a subscription. We chose the latter as it means the main focus of the app if your card collection and no disruption by adverts selling crypto etcTRASH!!!!

Very iffy feeling
Paid for the one month of unlimited uploads. So that’s a thing, but not too much. The ratings really all depend on the picture. The program also misses dents in cards as well. Same card uploaded has 3 vastly different grades. Brand new out of pack cards also getting low grades? Cool tool, but not sure I’ll be using it after the single monthboonballer

Our app doesn’t allow for uploads and requires you scan each time. And while to the naked eye the conditions the scan was completed in and the reference image shown to you will have differences pertinent to the grading process. This means that you will receive differing grades from our AI engine. Contact us via http://opticedge.ai/support so we can look into this in more detail to provide to you if you wish. And with regard to the pack fresh cards, it is rare especially with some of the latest production cards to be mint or pristine in terms of grading. This happened with conventional grading companies, I have more than my fair share of low grades from the likes of PSA and Beckett on what can be considered brand new or pack fresh cards.Wasn’t able to scan
