Stay Away
Complete garbage. We paid several thousand dollars for a heated floor in our bathroom and its essentially useless schluter is garbage. It takes 6 hours for the floor to heat up 8 degrees. You have to run it 24/7 to get a warm floor so why sell a programmable thermostat?
App does not connect to thermostat
Will not connect. Spent the extra money for the thermostat to connect via WiFi.
Horrible app
Not only can’t find the thermostat, now can’t control it or program it… Have spent 2 hrs now and had zero success getting the app to connect. Even if I do end up getting it connected… I’d say scrap this POS.
Yes it’s really that bad
I saw the 1 star reviews but decided to give it a go anyway. Yes it is garbage. I actually got it sort of configured but there is a bug in that I can configure my home but the thermostat is not set as a device. So you can’t control it. No way to add the thermostat as a device because it is already wifi configured. Finally just gave up. Don’t waste your time.

For a company that charges absolutely insane prices for their product this app is an absolute disgrace and disappointment for a company of the size. They should be absolutely embarrassed. When you download the app there is nowhere to create an account. I created a account at schlueter.com but that does not sync up with this app software. sCHLUETER is closed on the weekends so no luck calling them. To top it off I pulled the screen protector off the thermostat and the residue will not wipe off even with goo gone. after installing this entire system in my bathroom what an absolute letdown upon execution of firing everything up.

If I knew how impossible this app is before I bought the heating. I wouldve chosen a different brand
I’ve tried this app and the other app that mysteriously could also operate my thermostat. I couldn’t log into either one. It said that my confirmation email address and confirmation password were not the same and yet they’re clearly identical. There is no other option for me, but to keep trying, and it keeps failing
I would paste the screenshot here if that was possible. I tried setup twice, so about 15 minute wasted trying to get this app to work. You might not think that’s a big deal, but when 95% of the other apps I use perform this step in about 30 seconds to a minute compared to this app, getting me to a dead end, I’m not going to continue the same thing hoping something’s going to be different
I hope you can appreciate why I’m dropping attempts to control the temperature by the phone all together.
If I knew about this before I chose your Flooring system I wouldn’t of bought it. You have to understand that the software is what makes the product good. If the software sucks, no one‘s going to buy it.
Please just test your app and try to reduce the amount of key strokes and reliability. If you don’t do that, you’re not even showing up.

Cannot connect
App is no good. I tried reconnecting to use the app instead of apple home and i cannot connect to the smart thermostat

Doesn’t Work
Right off the bat, this app is a disappointment. I can’t even sign up for an account without an error message popping up.
Solid 1 start
Had trouble concocting the thermostat. It works only about 50% of the time. The other 50% I get a useless error message. To top it off there is a second Ditra Heat app just as cryptic as this on. Shame on you Schluter.
