  • Home bar not fading away

Please fix the issue with the home bar not fading away. Completely ruins the experience of the app.
  • Cannot change audio tracks

The menu keeps blinking and doesn’t allow changing values
  • Much better than the standard client

I do like this. This is really attractive on both the iPhone and 4K TV. Responsive and just nice to look at. Love it
  • Does not honour Jellyfin server settings

Does not honour Jellyfin server settings for Movie and Shows which are not supposed to be included in the search or Home Screen
  • Missing Genres Filter

Well, this last update fixes the app so that it can now pull content from the Jellyfin server. However, pressing genres filter gives. I genres even though, each movie has multiple genres.

No way to delete a video after it was payed.
  • Off to a great start!

I never want to touch Plex again, I’m definitely a convert. I would say this app is not fully featured, and it really seems odd how the player does integrate with tvOS and allow for controls on the iPhone lock screen like every other media app, (including Plex). But going FOSS is definitely worth that feature. This first update fixed most my complaints!

  • Good start but needs HDR support

HDR is currently shown as SDR
  • Too slow, lacks features

It’s incredible slow to charge everything and if you try to play anything while loading.. it will crash
Lacks live tv, multiple server/ips… dashboard options, Picture in Picture, music, etc

The good thing is, it loads hevc directly and it looks way better than the old one, but other than that, the old one doesn’t crash, loads faster, has almost every feature, etc

  • Best player for jellyfin

    Its so good!!
  • Cannot playback MKV files

Some of my video files are MKV and this player crashes every time I try and watch anything with a .MKV. Still recommend this app however as anything I don't have as .MKV works.
