How to get the sound to turn on.
I am using an Apple IPad Pro with the app. After I start a game on the right hand side I select the 3 dashes which open your options. I turn on sound effects or turn on music…nothing is heard. I just want to hear the sound when the blots are moved around the board…but completely silent…no sound is made at all….why is that?Show lessSnakewalkerUSA
Glitchy and needs more players
Several games lost, timed out while loading. Hard to move checkers on phone. Given up playing multiple times because an opponent couldn’t be found.Benjician
An absolute disappointment
Some of us do not like the gambling aspect of backgammon. It’s stressful. This app has taken all the fun out of the game. The original backgammon galaxy website was the best. I could play on my own terms, and didn’t feel like I was gambling. The microtransactions are a toxic and further ruin the game. Marc really had something with Galaxy, but this app took it in the opposite direction.Show lessidavidi
Slowly being updated
This app is awful, but they’re working on it. It used to not start. Then it used to not find a match.

Different user space from browser version
This is not a mobile app for the web+browser version, but a different app not connected to the web version. The age requirement suggests that Apple and Google put this app in a category different from just a board game.gkutlu

What is going on with your app ?
So slow that you lose match because the game did not load.
Lose match because of repeated lag when making moves.
Cannot log onto my web acc. I am usa pix6 pro and a fourth gen iPad pro and have all these issues noted above.

Doesn’t even start
I am beginning to lose complete faith in the people who created this website. They aren’t fixing any of the problems, and this app won’t even start on my iPad Pro. Why release the software when basis other comments, the programme clearly hasn’t even reached alpha stage. How can they be so clueless?Show lessAJP61
Terrible app
You have to create a new account with either Apple or Gmail. Why can’t I use my web login account? That dumb.

Log in issues
I am using this on and iPad Pro, I am only given the option to log in with my Apple ID or google account. Please fix this as I would like to log in with my regular backgammon galaxy accountskhadka17
Needs total overhaul
This is a horrible, horrible, game play experience. I may have been spoilt by the slickness and pleasant designs of nearly every other backgammon app available that leads me to say this but the game plays like a Sinclair ZX81. I urge the designers to play some of the other backgammon apps available and be inspired.
