Stops working
Beside the login issue which some else’s wrote about it, the app hangs a lot and stops working, can’t able to play on the mobile app yet!kingmcarthur
Now won’t let me play
Unbelievable. Started a game to play with a friend, it said to him that the key was invalid, and now the lobby only has a “reopen game” button, to open that game he can’t join.
I can’t start any new games whatsoever, what am I supposed to do? Tried killing the app, reinstalling it, everything, this is very very frustrating.Show lessrtreaders
Very slow app
This app is waste of time since there are not enough players in it there for u have to wait for ever to find a playerYanoa
So buggy
Worked for a few days, now can’t set up new games. Buttons don’t work. Incredibly buggy compared to the desktop site. Also very annoying that when playing a friend, you have to both be on the app as opposed to one on the app, one on a desktop.CHUCK397439296
awful glitches
this app repeatedly fails to open games, then shows them as losses when i didnt even get a chance to play. sadly its very frustrating and disappointing. i preferred the original web version.mitter9
Start up and authentication issues
This app could have been great if it did not have ongoing start up and authentication issues. I has now ceased to work and I removed it.xxxghtre
Can’t play anyone
Freezes constantly, I can’t judge the gameplay because it literally won’t match me with anyone no matter how many options I give it for different gameplay. Sat and clicked try again over and over for 20 minutes, still nothing. Love backgammon Galaxy on the desktop website even though it has quirks, and I feel bad giving a one star on this without actually trying the gameplay, but not even being able to play a match at all seems to warrant it. The best backgammon app out there
For those who know, the website is the real destination for serious players. Super happy the app is now available. Love the design and speed of the game. Also great to be playing with real humans vs bots as it is the case with other apps. Well done team!Samykabby1
Complete Trash!
NOT A GOOD APP! Stick to playing on the website instead. Can’t use your current login you have to create an entirely new account and have to have a gmail or iTunes account. Can’t just create an account with an email why? Can’t log out once logged in lol.
Takes forever to find a match. Once you do find a match it goes to a white screen for a couple seconds?
PR means nothing now? This is what I like about the website version why change this? So now your rating is just based on luck.
Still can’t see checker movements.
Still can’t change board and checker colors.
What is the point of coins? No one cares about earning some fake coins they are meaningless.
Just add some different board and checker colors to the website version and I will be happy because there is no way I will be playing on the app!
I just can’t believe how badly they screwed this up I was really excited for this to launch. It’s like they don’t even know who their target market is.
Now the website version will never get updates because they will be focusing on updates to an app that no one will be playing on.

People are outraged by everything.
When I decided to start using this app I also decided to try and forget the desktop version of this existed so I could try and be fair to the app.
Pros: In my opinion the app is beautiful and is smooth during game play. I have had no problems moving checkers or using the cube in game. The analysis features are smooth too, as I look over my games at the end to see where I might have made errors.
Cons: I think the coin system will work though at the moment I consider it to be very expensive. I would like there to be an ability to win coins from matches like you can win them in the unlimited play. Playing a match against a Random noob who has no idea how to play and being charged 100 coins for the displeasure isn’t fun. I’ve had 4-5 matches when it starts my opponent isn’t there they time out and I don’t get to play and I lose my coins too. If I win a match I should win coins or at least keep my coins right?
The matchmaking is bad at the moment because the app is new and there aren’t very many people using it. I hope this improves as people discover the app. I played a 1,100 player the other day which was insufferable and had to pay coins for the displeasure.Show lessTheStimuli
